| My bad guys, you are right, I had no idea that Al Davis hired the first black and hispanic coaches in this league. But I still think the league as a whole has a lot of racism against black coaches. |

| Well I don't think the racisim exist on the sideline anymore. Please point to a team that this might exist or has the perception that this might exist. The Lions come to mind but I think that might be it. Would be a interesting thread to talk about if we don't get to personal. I am white and would love dearly to discuss things like this to open my mind to how others percieve things. |

| this thread is about turned, not racism. I dotn see hardly any racisim in football anymore. As far as turners coaching, eh, whatever i dotn even care. The raiders have a good team in my opinon. I think as the season goes on no one will run on them up the middle. Sapp and Washington, damn.

| it might be problems getting opportunities too... the redskins ownership at one point in time refused to have any black players on its roster.... until they found out that the team couldn't win anything like that ![]() ted is getting older, but he's still good... sapp may have already past his prime though...

| i dunno i have to disagree guys. i like norv turner. give him one of the D-coords that the skins had following his ousting and see the skins being a lot better. it was under norv that we last went to the playoffs so... but that's neither here nor there for the skins... we got gibbs and that's all we need |

| You know the real truth about Norv is that he is not even that good an offensive coordinator when he doesn't have Aikman, Emmit & Irvin at his disposal... |
