Colt Brennan Says He'll "Play A Ton" In The Preseason | ProFootballTalk.com

Sounds good!! I always have liked Colt's attitude and who know's maybe he is a STAR QB in the making.

I agree if JC has a horrible start and the Skins are below the .500 mark the first half of the season, JC will sit the bench. But Todd Collins will get the first crack at leading the Skins. Only if things dont improve with Collins at QB, Colt will may finish the season if things are absolutely terrible. (Which none of this will happen cause JC is taking the Skins and their top rated D to the Super Bowl this year while all the haters can swing from them)

I hope they all do well. Not that I want to see Collins gone. But with two good QBs (or at least college and could have promise) with Colt and Chase I would hate to see us cut one of them (probably Chase). But I guess young QBs are a dime a dozen.

And this is breaking news? Isn't this usually what happens in Pre-Season NFL football, your backups get playing time.

I hope Colt does well. I like his mentality and it would be nice to have a good young QB in waiting in case we need him. I would like to see him pass Collins because that would mean he's doing well, but Collins is a tough old bird and very competitive. Colt will have to earn it. It won't be easy.

These are my thoughts as well. I WANT to see Colt usurp the 2 spot. I also hope Daniels wins the third. As you said 53, Collins is a hardened vet. If the kids knock him off? Well, that speaks for the talent waiting in the wings.

Id like to see Colt go up against another team's starting defense, then we will know what he can do. I think he will do well in our offense that plays to his strengths. -quick release,reads defenses well-

What a dumb article. It was all just for Florio to say he thinks, and Colt implies, that Campbell will be benched this fall in favor of Colt...when we all know Chase will be starting by week 9!!!!!!!!!!

If Colt starts then that means Collins was cut and JC failed. so if that all happens i guess Chase could settle for the 2 spot next yr.

Imagine the shock that Colt will get as soon as he becomes the starter and misses a wide open receiver and the fans start calling for Chase to take his place. I hope he realizes that he is a fan darling because he is the back-up. If he becomes the starter, anything short of a Super Bowl appearance will only make the calls for Colt's back-up louder and louder.

You know, I hear that Chase Daniel is putting in 36 hours a day in the film room...

If Colt gets any regular season snaps that would mean the worst possible considerable scenario for the Redskins this year. I'll even go out on the limb to say that Brennan won't take any regular season snaps with Jim Zorn as head coach.
