| Re: Best Training Camp Battle of 2009 I would say RT . Unless Jarmon has a monster camp , Its Danials job . I hope we see alot of Orakpo at RDE and LDE atleast as a pass rusher during pre seaeson , as I believe he will end up at DE for years . As far as RT , is Bridges going to get any work at RT ? RG should be a battle if RT is not 100 % ,,, Rinehart and Bridges should compete as well . Im curious , do you guys think big Al is a lock at DT ? I will say , if we are improved at RT and LDE ,,,, we should kick some tail this year ! |

| Re: Best Training Camp Battle of 2009 RT, it is the only one that is going to come down to the wire. One of those recievers is going to separate himself from the pack and it is going to be obvious early who should stay.

| Re: Best Training Camp Battle of 2009 lol based on what? Camp hasn't even started yet, I'm not sure we can pencil anyone in at the #5 spot just yet. |

| Re: Best Training Camp Battle of 2009 Last I heard from anyone inside Redskins Park (and I think this was a Stan Hixon interview), Roydell Williams is the front runner for #5 spot right now...though ultimately I think it won't be him

Jaison,Marko and Roydell were said to be the front runners for the spot. Jaison is gone and Marko is big,can stretch the field and has caught everything thrown his way. Roydell?? Yeah thats just what we need, ANOTHER WR coming off of season ending injury. COMEON MAN!! Last edited by SmootSmack; 07-24-2009 at 12:01 PM.

| Re: Best Training Camp Battle of 2009 He still has a long way to go is all I'm saying. It's definitely premature to assume he's the #5 WR before camp even starts. |

Ill agree with that, im just sayin he has good size and speed. obviously he has great hands. put him at the 5 spot and let him develop. I wasnt saying the guy was ready to start but he does show promise of being a good wr and maybe we can get him on the field in certain situations.

| Re: Best Training Camp Battle of 2009 The big thing to see is can he get open against NFL defenses? He's a bit on the lanky side and is going to have to deal with physical corners, and he needs to learn the nuances of running routes at this level. Roydell Williams has a leg up on him in those areas. |

| Re: Best Training Camp Battle of 2009 I would not mind at all seeing him thrown in with Santana and and DT in a 3WR set, on a flat out go route, maybe even sneak Cooley across the middle. Of course this all comes down to giving JC the time to drop back 7 and heave. |

Just checked out some video on Roydell Williams, this guy has a knack for getting open, has decent speed and can catch. Hope he makes it on as the 5th reciever...
