5 Things to Watch in Preseason Game 1

5 Things to Watch in Preseason Game 1 - DC Pro Sports Report

1. Brian Orakpo

Washington's prize rookie is OLB/DE Brian Orakpo. He's been having a fantastic training camp, running circles around the team's beleaguered offensive line. But that's not necessarily indicative of how he'll do against good offensive lines. It will be interesting to watch Orakpo's explosion around the edge against tackles and to see how he looks backing up and playing coverage. The Redskins are counting on an instant pass rush from Orakpo and, apart from DT Albert Haynesworth [who won't play tonight], Orakpo is the most important player on defense.
