Herm Edwards predicts Lions win this week!

In case you missed it, Herm Edwards predicted the Lions would upset the Skins this week. He also predicted Bengals over Steelers, and Bills over Saints. I don't know about you, but I am annoyed at the prospect of losing to the 0-19 Lions, but to hear a former head coach predict our demise to a clearly inferior team makes me quite annoyed...I hope some players saw this and are getting pissed off and will try to make a statement.

It's going to be everyone's upset pick of the week...The Lions' streak has to end sometime, and the Skins are having muy problemas getting the ball in the endzone.

After the way we sqeeked out a win in Detriot last year , the Lions believe this is redemption. We need to win this game ,,, badly ,,,, 2-1-0 !!!!!

I could care less about what a washed up,couldnt cut it as a HC and Mr "play to with the game" says about my Skins. Its because of his HC soundbites that he still has a job on tv.

They seem hungry too, which really makes me nervous. We seem to have a non chalant attitude, while the Lions are ready to break their impressive streak.
For me, it's one thing to think we might lose, it's another to hear it from someone like Herm Edwards.

Mike Golic also let it slip that he had the Lions picked this week, when they were talking to Herm this morning on Mike & Mike. If I had to put money on it, I'd still pick the Skins to win, but I won't be shocked if the Lions pull it out.

I sure as hell hope with the poor showing that we put up last week that we shouldn't need any extra motivation to make a statement.

Skins win. Could careless about what Herm might say. I will tell you this right now. I am betting that a good 80% of the national media predicts the Lions to win this game. I will take at least 3 pick the Lions this Sunday on Fox NFL Sunday Countdown. The lions will be this weeks sexy underdog pick guaranteed. I could careless, but that is the way it will go down.

When we play as bad as we do on offense, what do you expect. We can keep the Haters off our nuts when when we go 5-1 to start the season, then make room on the bandwagon. Just hope I dont need to go to Kool Aid Rehab like I did last year after our collaspe.

Being a Redskins fan is like being married to an alcoholic. Yeah I'll talk all the shit I want to. When someone else tries to chime in, circle the wagons. "Who do you think you are talking about? No sir, these are the best football players that ever were and will be".

So eff that washed up bitch. I was just thinking, who actually believes that the Lions can score more than 3 field goals on our defense?

Just another sad indication of what happens when you don't play up to other peoples' expectations. Had we blown out the Rams (which many had prematurely predicted we would) we'd be favored by 10+ points against the Lions. Chalk it up to more of the same.

Who would have thought Zorn would be facing a must win game --again-- headed into week three.

You are absolutely right, but the correct comment is to say "Just another sad indication of what happens when you don't play up to YOUR CAPABILITIES". I think we can all agree we are a better team than what we showed. So it's either they are not playing to their potential (90-95% likely), or we are all wrong and the team really isn't any good (5-10% likely).
(keep in mind TEAM means the coaching staff as well)

You're right.....That probably would have been a more appropiate way to phrase it.
