I wish i could post this on all forums that call for drastic change: Ok fans......when you call for the coaches head in his 2nd year, in the middle of the season ...this is the SAME AS how our front office looks to "change" things quickly instead of allowing things to mature....but yet everyone calls for Vinny to be fired. We as Redskins fans have become so familiar with chaos that we actually LOOK to blow things up just to make us believe things will be different when THEY WONT if WE still have the same mentality. examples...... 1) We all agree that Vinny must go and bring in a proven GM that has a history of drafting players that produce. This will allow us to DEVELOP draft picks and grow our team with that old Redskins spirit from the ground up and not through free agency. (dont believe me? see...Pittsburgh,Philly,Colts,Giants..etc ***But we as fans talk almost EVERY day during the offseason about what FA to bring in...which is the same as the front office YOU LOVE TO HATE. We must stop this!!! Less Free agent acquistions = More draft picks (which our OL NEEDS) 2) Our stupid Front office thinks bringing in a new head coach every few years will solve the problems of having a well paid roster full of talent with no structure from the top. Every team you know that is succesful has One Goal from the top to the bottom and dont mind waiting it out for things to develop. If you noticed... Marvin Lewis had his head on a platter by the "media" and not so much by the fans (some did though)...but look at them now....patience is the key with a head coach. Our front office looks at young coaches from ATL or Denver or the Jets and say.... why cant we have instant success????...well...those org have structure....ours doesnt.(like bringing an "extra set of eyes" without telling the head coach... ****but we as fans....DO THE SAME THING!!!!! we are screaming loud for a new coach in THE MIDDLE OF THE SEASON!!!! If you dont like how things are going now...wait until the players realize the front office has given up on the season ...it WILL be worse....Now...everyone is entitled to their own opinion...so I will continue mine. No professional coach or player needs to be "babied" with all the money they are making...but they do need to be supported, so that attitude will carry over to other players. Since fans are ready for a freakin coach change...Carlos Rogers is now vocally saying things need to change.....this is the wrong message at the wrong time. 3) For all you Colt & Collins fans....we would absolutly SUCK EVEN WORSE if Campbell was not the QB...Why....Our OL is old and terrible right now...Collins would not be able to scramble...and I just dont believe in Colt AT ALL...he is a college system QB...how do I know????....I am a Texas Tech Alumn....And NO Tech QB is doing well in the NFL with ALL the record breaking performances we have had. We have ALL seen what JC can do IF he has time!! Why do we forget that(his numbers have improved EVERY year). We spent 0 picks on OL in the first 3 rounds in the last 5 years (correct me if I am wrong) So....Campbell is the answer...for now...and if we get a solid line....I believe for the future. If Devin Thomas doesnt drop that bomb against Carolina...we are ALL praising Jason for a good performance..... So....Our fans want to hate Vinny and Danny(which I do too) but we as fans act just like them with the way we support the team with (quick fixes instead of giving things time). Zorn should not be fired after 1yr and 1/4 of football. If it doesnt work after 3yrs then yes...change coaches...by then we should be ready for a coach to come in and gel the talent that we have from drafting players...... WHEW....thanks Warpath for allowing me to vent.....GO Skins
