| Re: Clinton Portis among players who have worn out their welcome Portis is still productive, but by the time you get a new O line formed he will be used up. I say trade Portis and dare I say it, Haynesworth for multiple picks each. |

Leave the Defense alone, for now. Address the NEED, that has been neglected for far to long. It ALL starts up front and we have one true starter in this league starting (Dock), the rest of this starting line should be depth for the O-line. And yes CP best days are LONG GONE. I wish he was trade able, who would take that contract..? No team in there right mind.

| Re: Clinton Portis among players who have worn out their welcome I agree trade Portis for Quinn or for a pick so we can draft Toby Gerhart.

| Re: Clinton Portis among players who have worn out their welcome Good call, we could probably get Cleveland to cough up a pick also. This should be one of the first scenarios looked at this off-season by the new GM.

| Re: Clinton Portis among players who have worn out their welcome I doubt a pick also, but player for player is possible.. Knowing DS we would be the idiots giving away a pick..

| Re: Clinton Portis among players who have worn out their welcome I can't see them trading Joe Thomas for Portis but, hey, I'm not in the Cleveland FO.

| Re: Clinton Portis among players who have worn out their welcome Portis has become a locker room liability too, he needs to go. If we could trade him straight up for a decent young QB or a stud lineman, I say go for it.

| Re: Clinton Portis among players who have worn out their welcome I think the Redskins would have to pay another team to take Portis off their hands. Not only has Clinton lost a step, he can't even outrun Mike Sellers, the guy he complains about his blocking skills. Portis is such a distraction with his bickering and his claim that the owner likes him. Maybe that should tell him something. I just hope that we didn't get a Portis twin when we signed DeAngelo Hall. We should have kept Champ Bailey (I know, I've said this before!). |

| Re: Clinton Portis among players who have worn out their welcome Which team would be willing to pay Haynesworth what Snyder is paying him? I believe his large contract will end up causing a lot of dissension for the other D-Linemen, as well as some of the linebackers. I would agree to trade Haynesworth and Portis for draft picks, and DeAngelo too. |

| Re: Clinton Portis among players who have worn out their welcome F IT! Tell every player on offense to seek a trade and see what we can get. |
