| Re: Champ Bailey Returns To DC: HOF Bronco or Skin? Champ is an obvious HOF when he retires. Portis? He only has 2 ProBowl seasons. And his stats as a Redskin don't stand up to his first 2 years as a Bronco. Except fumbles. So probably not.

| Re: Champ Bailey Returns To DC: HOF Bronco or Skin? [quote=freddyg12;624070]Bailey was my favorite player & the best cb of his decade. He's a first ballot denver bronco. Would he be the first bronco in the hall? He says something about denver having no hall of famers. quote] Since you've been schooled on Elway, I'll continue the lesson, #2 Bronco Hall of Famer, OT Gary Zimmerman. He was in the 2008 HOF Class along with Art Monk. Poor Z-man though, it was all about Art that great day. |

And ladies and gentleman, here lies the core problem of the Washington Redskins led by Dan Snyder - trying to win Super Bowls instead of football games. | |

In the 'revenge' games Portis, 0-1 with 1 DNP, Bailey 0-1 with 1 DNP. Pretty anti-climactic return for both players involved.

Even if it were like baseball, Bailey played the majority of his career and has put up better stats with Denver, it wouldn't be a question.

| Re: Champ Bailey Returns To DC: HOF Bronco or Skin? While this is true many players still sign one-day contracts to retire as a member of a certain team. So for the HOF you are correct, but you do retire as part of a team symbolically at least. |
