| Re: New Helmet Idea Helmit looked like the Eagles almost. I know feathers are different from wings but change the colors to green and white and it's really close. I liked the spear better with the all Burgandy uni's. |

| Re: New Helmet Idea The old style with the feather coming up the back blows this one away. I think our current helmet is one of the best in the NFL. Why do uniforms have to change? The Yankees don't seem to think they do and they do alright.

| Re: New Helmet Idea I had been under the impression that the name "Redskin" was a racist term, meaning the scalp of a dead Native American or something like that... Now what about the logo itself is racist? Its just a face with feathers. What's racist about that? The fact that the face isn't white? hmm... And yeah that "fashionable" helmet just looks stupid. Something like the spear from the 60's or maybe a new spin on that would be something I might be in favor of. |
