| Re: Let's Talk Levi Jones and Offensive Line Why not ![]() After watching Jones for three straight weeks now, I don't think he's horrible but I'm not sure how much upside he has, if any at all. It seems when the pocket collapes, he has a hard time adjusting. I still favor the Skins drafting a left tackle. I don't think Jones is the answer. Edwin Williams has been steady if not great. With more playing time and another training camp under his belt, maybe he can push Casey Rabach for the starting spot next year. He might be the sleeper out of the entire bunch. Stephon Heyer is what he is. He went undrafted for a reason. He's definitely NFL material and has proven to be an adequate stop gap measure, but he's not a consistent starter week in and week out. Not the answer at right tackle. |

| Re: Let's Talk Levi Jones and Offensive Line Too many false starts today.. too many holds.. Jones got blown up by Cole and we're lucky the Eagles didn't get 6 sacks against us like the last time that we played them. Edwin Williams looked pretty decent, I'll take that production out of an UDFA rookie. |

| Re: Let's Talk Levi Jones and Offensive Line I think Ed's a keeper. Let's see what he has against GWilliams next week. They're going to throw the sink and the bathtub at Jason Campbell. |

| Re: Let's Talk Levi Jones and Offensive Line Williams isn't a bad pick up but lets be real. Is this guy going to be able to be a 16 game starter? Probably not. I think he may be a nice back up but that's it. We're still going to need a LT, RG and RT. |

| Re: Let's Talk Levi Jones and Offensive Line Well I hope we can get away with a 2nd round RT. So we can draft a first round QB. Levi Jones is going to have to play better for that to happen. |

| Re: Let's Talk Levi Jones and Offensive Line And LG if the plan is to be a dominant line. Dockery will never be an above average player again. If the plan is to be an adequate line, you already have pieces to work with in Rinehart, Williams, and perhaps Heyer. But the team needs to add a tackle, if not two, and let go of the dead weight.

| Re: Let's Talk Levi Jones and Offensive Line why don't you think he can be a starting center in this league?

| Re: Let's Talk Levi Jones and Offensive Line my thoughts exactly, and while we're at it, why not shore up LG...we could basically use an entirely new offensive line lol

| Re: Let's Talk Levi Jones and Offensive Line Realistically we're not going to be able to replace the entire OL in one offseason. We're definitely looking at new starters at RG and RT. Maybe Jones can hold down the LT spot as a stop gap measure. I think you can get by with Dock and Rabach (assuming you can re-sign him to a deal that makes sense). |
