| Re: Bud Adams is awesome. I've always wanted to ask this.... Is that $250k after taxes or does he get to claim the fine as a donation to charity and write it off or is it a pre-tax fine... Silly question I know but so is the thread really.

Considering Rodger Goodell was in the box with Bud discussing how to make the NFL a more family friendly enviroment at the stadiums, this fine is right in line and appropriate. I am surprised that a guy in his 80's after having this discussion would do such a thing. I would tend to think that RG found this gesture a real slap in the face after thier conversation. Although I do find the action funny considering what the topic of discussion was in the box all afternoon I find this a little upsurd. Unless Bud did it as a gesture of F U to the NFL and their stupid family friendly idea.
