| Re: BREAKING NEWS: Cerrato resigns (Bruce Allen hired as VP/GM) - merged So who was in charge of personel in Oakland and Tampa when gruden & Allen worked together? Was there another key scout that they had in both places or was Gruden very involved in personel? I always thought Gruden was strictly a coach.

| Re: BREAKING NEWS: Cerrato resigns (Bruce Allen hired as VP/GM) - merged Gruden has always had a heavy say in personnel from what I understand. At least in Tampa. |

They easily could have won a Superbowl in Oakland if it wasn't for the tuck play.

| Re: BREAKING NEWS: Cerrato resigns (Bruce Allen hired as VP/GM) - merged Well I wouldn't give Allen credit for the TB SB cause those were not his players. And after that SB they really didn't so anything and he and Gruden got fired. He did a nice job bringing in some older vets in Oakland. I like the move but I'm going to take a wait and see attitude. I wanted a true personel guy first, not a business contract guy. They've already got a guy doing that. |

| Re: BREAKING NEWS: Cerrato resigns (Bruce Allen hired as VP/GM) - merged Give Snyder credit for being loyal to the redskins faithful. Hiring Gibbs and hiring George Allen's son keeps the Redskins tradition alive. Regardless of results, we can't say that Snyder doesn't try to keep the skins faithful happy (outside of the prices at FedEx)
