| Re: Shanahan The New Head Coach Of the Redskins Glad to see it done. Get right to the evaluation of players and putting the new scheme in place ASAP. I'm more excited about Kyle Shanahan as the OC and Mike Zimmer the DC. I think KS will need to emphasize the run a bit more than in Houston to be successful in late Nov. / Dec. in the NFC East, but that shouldn't be an issue, especially if Alex Gibbs is coming to run the OL. Zimmer will likely stay with the 4-3 (I'm not sure where the 3-4 rumors are coming from) and greatly improve our defense in terms of 3rd down % and turnovers. It's the off-season, time for eternal optimism.

| Re: Shanahan The New Head Coach Of the Redskins sidenote: JReid sounds ticked that he can't get a confirmation back from the Skins. Rather they had let him break the story. |

| Re: Shanahan The New Head Coach Of the Redskins Looks like Mike is going to bring his son with him from the Texans to serve as his OC. I sure wish he could bring Andre Johnson with him too. |

Hey I don't have a valid ES account, I registered there in 2006 but never used it. Anyway is it possible to post the pic here? Dude, some things you just don't kid with. Things like Terrorism, epidemics, the possibility of Vinny coming back, and Stan Hixon staying on as a Recievers coach.

Uh, re-read the post. I believed it from the start. Hint: I'm a smartass. I said yeah right to the fact that my daughter is serving them dinner.

| Re: Shanahan The New Head Coach Of the Redskins Eh, it's to much effort for me to ask in good conscience. If I could get to it I would post it in my photobucket account and redirect it here. Still I hate when they do that members only crap.

| Re: Shanahan The New Head Coach Of the Redskins Is it a definite that Bugel is retiring? I know initially the report was that the signing of Shannahan would be put off to give Buges respect and allow him to retire withough being let go by Shanny. So, does anyone think that Shanny may be holding onto Buges? |

| Re: Shanahan The New Head Coach Of the Redskins Ok basically the picture looks like someone took a photo of their TV. It shows DS and Shanahan sitting together in a restaraunt shaking hands with what appears to be the contract in front of them. The poster says they believe Adam Schefter took the picture cause he and Shanahan are close friends and probably was invited to get the news first. |
