Do you want Portis back next season?

I wish i had the authority to make a poll, but maybe someone will that can.

My question is simple. After all Portis has done, throwing teammates, and coaches under the bus, now attacking Jason Campbell, and the fact that he refuses to work out, practice, attend team meetings, or participate in OTAs.....Do you want Portis off the team next season?

I vote yes.

I do. We're not good. Having him won't make us drastically better even if he stays healthy and maximizes his remaining skills. But with him gone we lose a great amount of distractions that are contributing to what is the fundamental problem with the group...they're not a team..

Only if we can get a couple late round picks or a decent 2 or 3 pick for him for him. If no one wants to pay that for him o well. I would even take an OL also. Keep Campbell too and let Shanny coach him up.

There is no way we get anything for Portis unless there is a team out there that is desperate to get him. Which I doubt there is.

Cut him asap. I'm so over him and his attitude. Later CP. Thanks for everything.

YES...get that horrible Snyder/Vinny contract off the books...he has lost a step and I would not be surprised if no one picks him up when he is cut. The guy seems lazy and disinterested as well, we need serious change on this team especially this weakass offense lets start with him first

Gone.... I'm over him already. At this point in his career, he is not adding anything to the team; the negatives outweigh the positives.

If he does come back, he will be back under Shanahan's terms meaning he will be in shape, he will practice, and he will keep his mouth shut. Given that yeah I would bring him back.

Nahh keep Portis. People think running backs are a dime a dozen. I see things differently.

Even with CP back, I'm pretty sure we'll see a RB taken in the draft. Interesting to note that Shanahan was interested in trading for Betts a few years ago.

re: Do you want Portis back next season?

Bring him back if he wants to work, of course if there is no new cba in place I would say cut him and that fat bloated contract of the books. If there is no market for the kid bring him back on a lesser contract. Even then I do not know if I want him on the team. CP wasn't exactly quite when he was in the end of his run in Denver under MS's discipline.

re: Do you want Portis back next season?

Clinton Portis is the best offensive linemen we have at this point. Until the line gets shored up it will help our QB to have a running back that actually picks up blitzers.

I only want him back if we can put him in a dunk tank at the 50 yard line.

Just kidding...but he does need to go.

re: Do you want Portis back next season?

I accidentally voted No but i meant Yes. Not that one vote has ever counted.

I think he is worth the roster spot for at least one more season. I believe he should get a second chance with the skins in the Shanny system provided he can keep his mouth shut. I absolutely think he still has some gas in the tank and if next year is uncapped, who cares what his salary is? Ultimately it comes down to this equation for me...

(CP's Remaining Production + His Motivation to prove himself - His Issues) X Shanny's system > 1 Year's experience for our Future Back
