Re: Chan Gailey hired as Buffalo Bills coach

Poor Buffalo. The HC job there is totally the red-headed stepchild of NFL jobs. Chan Gailey?

Re: Chan Gailey hired as Buffalo Bills coach

Was he even in the NFL this season?

Edit: He was the OC that was demoted by Todd Hailey in Kansas City right before the season started. Ouch. Chan Gailey - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Re: Chan Gailey hired as Buffalo Bills coach

The funny thing about this hire is Buffalo was the 1st team to fire there coach mid-season they got a early jumpstart but the last one to fill there spot. They got none of the choices they wanted

Re: Chan Gailey hired as Buffalo Bills coach

I guess Cowher recommended him, and someone inside the Bills org. also has ties to Gailey. Kind of a ho-hum hire but then again it's Buffalo.

I wonder if they satisfied the Rooney Rule?

Chan Gailey? That's the best they could do?

Seriously...take a shot at a Zorn type. If you miss like we did at least you swung for the fences on a younger hot-shot type and not some retread.

If you're looking at the big picture when talking "franchise" it's pretty clear they are far worse.
