Some of these guys just go out and play.. then you try to change their style and make them think of 20 things before the play, you mess their heads up | |

| Re: Interesting Comments from Carlos Rogers I was a fan of Rogers; I wanted to extend his contract when we resigned Hall's.. I am still a fan of Rogers, although his actions/words have changed my opinions.. Given the FA market for cornerbacks; the ideal would be for us to tender Rogers and keep him.. If he performs well this year, then we give him the contract he is worth.. We can't expect Tryon and Barnes to be the replacements; Tryon is best as nickel, nothing more.. We haven't seen anything from Barnes, literally.. Although SmootSmack hinted a while ago, that Barnes becoming a starter is a possibility.. |

| Re: Interesting Comments from Carlos Rogers Rogers has simply not lived up to expectations. He's just an average to below average NFL cb who can't catch and gets beat too much. But we need him cause what else is out on the street that's better? |

| Re: Interesting Comments from Carlos Rogers A vasectomy isn't a bad idea unless they like dumping they're game checks to these gold diggers. They could also take a page out of Kobe's playbook and stick it in the butt. |

| Re: Interesting Comments from Carlos Rogers Carlos is a good starting CB in this league, and the best one on our team. The drops don't bother me. Sure, I wish he caught them. But at least he's in position for a pick rather than getting constantly burned. I think Blache caused more problems than he solved with his stubborn "My way or the highway" approach. It's necessary for a coach, in today's NFL, to be dynamic and work to the strengths of their players. Not try to slam a square player into a round hole. Carlos will get beat sometimes, but find me a CB that doesn't. There won't be better corners on the street. Keep him for a while and spend the money on other positions where we don't have both talent and youth.

| Re: Interesting Comments from Carlos Rogers ^^ i think your comment about corners getting burnt sometimes is what carlos was referring to when he said they kept going man and not changing. you stick a corner out there to play man every single snap and he is going to get burnt. moreso than if you switch it up somewhat. can a corner be considered "burnt" on a play if he is in zone? i'm guessing so but it probably is not so clear cut as maning up and the reciever catching the ball on you.

| Re: Interesting Comments from Carlos Rogers You have to tender him! Only get rid of Los if another team offers us a substantial offer in a trade.
