Re: Redskins Sign Grossman

Now as a back-up... i guess he's a giant leap up from Todd Collins... As long as he's not the #1 guy, i'll try to keep the barfing to a minimum... pass the pepto

Re: Redskins Sign Grossman

I have an irrational man crush on Rex Grossman. Yes, he sucks, but I'm happy we signed him anyway.

Why? If he sucks, why are you happy we signed him?

Umm...because he's a back-up maybe?

No seriously, Grossman played in this very offense last season under Kyle Shanahan, our new offensive coordinator. So that's a pretty good reason. And honestly, there are some who feel Grossman got a bum deal in Chicago similar to Jason Campbell here in D.C. Not in the same exact way, but all the pieces haven't been there in Chicago for sometime now. So we'll see, but it was by no means a "horrible" signing. The biggest issue I think people have with it around here is the possibility of Grossman starting. That's a legit gripe.

Re: Redskins Sign Grossman

Now that we have Rex, we just need to sign the last piece of our Super Bowl roster: Pacman Jones.
