Seriously.. at least say kid was jumped from behind and the cops just rushed in to stop it, not that I condone those pigs lying.. what's ridiculous is how many cops jump in, shows that it's a broader mentality than just one wackjob.. I mean even when the other cops rushed off they need to pull the offending cops off

looks like I'll need to check the archives or cached versions for all of those stories

never knew it was that bad since I never lived in MD before and generally didn't read the Metro section of the post when I was in NoVA

I'm assuming that most of this happens in the heights and suitland, etc right? either way it's horrific

Yeah. I mean, 2 or 3 guys went to town on this kid, but there were at least a dozen other cops seen throughout the video that just let it happen.

Speaks to massive fail.

That sux that the links are dead. It is a very good piece. The worst story, IMO, described when they killed a mentally retarded person in his home. His mother called the police because he had picked up a knife. When they arrived, she begged the officers not to hurt him. A little while later he was carried out in a body bag.

The post researched what happened to officers who were responsible for deaths. Many of them received multiple promotions and some of those officers had killed on more than one occasion.

They do not play around.
