No I know, I'm being a little rediculous... but I mean they know there is a ton that goes into it...but I think what really irritates me about it is that the NFL keeps it as some like huge secret. I mean we already know who and where we're playing, should it really be a big deal as so when. Even if they just release the dates that we'll be home, it would just be a lot easier to plan... and I just hate how its been pushed back and the Week 1 Primetimes werent released this year....

I'm just beeing needy lol. Maybe its because I overslept this morning.

And just tell me when its gonna be released, if its gonna be next Monday, then fine. Just let me know so I'm not refreshing PFT/TWP and NFL.com 800 times a day.
Well not me alone, but yeah I was part of the group (moved on to bigger things now, but I still consult on it)

Even the dates we'll be home honestly comes down to the very last minute

It should be released sometime between tonight and Thursday night, but then again it should have been last week until...we screwed it all up

Thats actually kind of a cool gig. I didnt know you did that.

You may or may not be able to answer this, but how does something like that get screwed up?

I'm now like really interested in this process lol...

It is pretty cool, but it really can be a total pain in the ass at times. I mean we're talking about scheduling several networks 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and then at the same time having to work closely (in cases like the NFL, as well as other sports) with other networks as well as the stadiums, all while needing to abide by our contracts.

It goes through many many revisions

And I didn't mean screwed up as in a mistake was made

Wait until he finds out that he is the last one to know the schedule .... maybe we should post it before he goes insane . Hint , we will play a division opponent three times this year .............

There seems to be some symmetry to the Giants-Cowboys being the Week 1 game because of last year's Cowboys Stadium opener and the Cowboys playing the first game at Giants Stadium.
Sand

Were you guys (boys) hoping to open the new meadowlands and return the favour by beating the Gints in their new stadium? as they did yours.

Re: Cowboys at Redskins in Season Opener?

Please let it be in Detroit on opening day or if its a home game then hopefully we will draw the Eagles. Nothing will get McNabb going more than that.

Would love to see Boys at Skins opener.

Don't think I can take the possibility of a third opening day loss to the Giants in a row.

Re: Cowboys at Redskins in Season Opener?

I hope the league holds true and only schedules inter-divisional games in weeks 16 and 17. That might keep us from having that Colts-Jets fiasco like last year.

I think it would be cool if the Redskins played the Eagles on week one maybe as the first Monday night game of the season.
