Rumor is deon branch will be gone and the hawks are heavily pursuing Marshall and may give up their 16 th pick

Er, well almost

Can't find the damn thing now but the issue in Philli had to do with the fact that the Eagles don't acknowledge personal achievements. They only acknowledge team achievements. T.O. was upset that the team didn't acknowledge his reception achievement and wore a Dallas Cowboys (Irvin throwback) jersey the following week heading to their next game.

Supposedly from the owner all the way down to the fans everyone was upset that he wore the jersey. However instead of the owner or the HC taking the issue by the horns they let it fester in the locker room with teamates making comments to T.O. until he and Douglas started fighting.

I personally can see and over look the Philli issue. How would you fans feel if Art Monk was not acknowledged for his achievements? How about Doug Williams? or any other of the players who have their name in the ring of fire?

while i agree that this thread is slightly ridiculous at this point, the fact is getting Mcnabb completely changes how we expected this season to begin. everyone was sure about how we were going to rebuild, it was going to be slow and take a couple of seasons to get competitive ......obviously Shanahan is building a future team presently. so i can see how mcnabb changes the Marshall speculation......in any case I'm for it, preferably 1st rounder in 11' for Marshall, because I'd like to see Landry in his natural position.

backupkicker needs a little more than speculation and he also needs a more accurate title.

and I admit I have no idea what happened or what the actual issue was with Witten. All I have heard is T.O. was a decent player and teamate with Dallas. It was my understanding the owners son wanted T.O. gone and wanted Roy Williams to be "the man." I think we all can agree Dallas was not the same team with T.O. gone. Williams didn't live up to his billing. Many fans wish they could pick up T.O. again and this time get rid of Romo.

im down with next years first. I dont think our line is in that bad of shape if we get a OT with the 4th pic and can make a trade and get another guy later in rounds 2 or three. We got Casey, Dockery, Heyer, Hicks, and 4th overall. Backups we got Rhinehart(upside) and Williams which are decent and some guys that are just filling roster spots. If these guys can stay healthy I think we will be ok. Am I totaly wrong?

I wouldn't trade Marshall for less than a 1st round is all I'm saying. I'd love to see the Skins make a deal for Marshall...Ideally I would prefer to trade Santana Moss and a 3rd pick or a conditional 2nd round pick for Marshall.

One of the better trade scenarios but I doubt happens is for us to trade AH to Detroit for their #2 pick which gives us the #2 and #4 in the 1st round. With that some have said pick up Okung and Suh.

or taking one of those picks and moving back in the draft for more picks perhaps with either Seattle or 49ers.

Trade JC for either a 2nd or a 3rd.

part of the moving back would be to pick up another 1st and maybe a late 2nd early 3rd round with it. giving us many picks in the first two days.

won't happen though.

I don't see where they missed him at all. Austin Miles stepped up and produced an 80 catch, 1300 yard season with 11 TDs.

Matt Mosley has some pretty good ideas on the issue, at least as it concerns the posibility of the Cowboys adding Marshall:

Yeah, because if we traded for BM, there is no possible way we can acquire any o-line help for the rest of the offseason.....**** the dumb shit Skins, get this done, dude is a top 5 WR in this league and he is still young as hell. We get BM, and we are set @ the WR for YEARS to come. Not to mention we still have a WR slot that needs to be addressed.

I want us to acquire oline talent as well, if we were able to complete a trade with Denver where we exchange picks, we'd still be able to draft oline in the first round this year.

Dallas needs to pay the man...he was the #1 receiver and balled hard last year.
