| Re: Predict Our Front Seven Starters For the 3-4 DE-Daniels NT-Montgomery DE-Golston OLB-Alexander ILB-Henson ILB-Fletcher OLB-Orakpo I don't think Carter, Haynesworth, or McIntosh are on the roster. I Don't think Kemo will be able to play when the season starts. I can see a 2nd round D-line player taken, and another FA pick-up when rosters get trimmed. |

| Re: Predict Our Front Seven Starters For the 3-4 Anybody know how Rob Jackson fits it? He's listed as a DE at 6'4", 269. OLB or 3-4 DE? When you're talking about inside linebackers, I'm reminded of a guy we drafted back in 2005 -- Robert McCune. He looked bulky enough for that position. He hasn't played much though; he's with the Ravens now. Seems like we've taken lots of linebackers over the last 3 or 4 drafts. Not many have panned out. |

I agree about the LB's we've drafted that for whatever reasons didn't pan out. I have been more concerned about continuing to draft QB's who have little chance of competing as opposed to using the pick on a position player. I agree with Dirtbags lineup providing Kemo is healthy and ready to go.

Wilson and Orakpo at OLB would nothing but trouble for opposing QB's. I also think that Jarvis and Alexander would be decent as pass rushing LB's. AC may still be in the mix, but I think that he'll probably be traded. I just can't see this defense doing anything positive without Albert Haynesworth, so any projected Redskins lineup that doesn't have him in it fails my litmus test. Personally, I couldn't care less if Shanahan and Haynesworth don't like each other. Most of us have worked with people we don't like. So that's no big deal. I think that Shanahan should keep Big Al, put up with Big Al's b.s., try to win him over, and know that, with him, we can dominate other teams on the LOS for years to come.

| Re: Predict Our Front Seven Starters For the 3-4 I could see this happening. At least until Kemo is healthy enough to get in the mix. You could really mix it up and keep it fresh with the other guys we have substituting. I think Wilson makes the most sense right now at the OLB spot opposite Orakpo. Spikes has fell considerably in the draft so we could easily have a shot at him.

| Re: Predict Our Front Seven Starters For the 3-4 OLB- Thomas OLB- Orakpo ILB- Flecther ILB- Blades? The other ILB is another position that I think is completely up in the air. DE- AH ( I really hope this guy is on the team ) NT- Kemo/Carriker DE- Daniels Can Jarmon play an inside backer position in the 3-4. I have read alot of posts trying to sum up the 3-4, but I am having a hard time understanding it. Not going to come on here and pretend I even know what I am talking about. I really think that SS knows alot more about what is going on here about the scheme the Redskins Defense is going to run. I could see the team playing a 4-3 60% of the time. But even then we will be playing nickel and dime at points, so I would imagine that you would run a 4-2-5 (Nickel) and 3-3-5 at times. And maybe a 1-5-5. Just for fun!

| Re: Predict Our Front Seven Starters For the 3-4 Smoot why do you believe that Brandon Spikes will fall to us? I really don't see how we will have a chance to draft him. He is projected any where from the 1st to 3rd round. I really don't believe the guy will make it out of the 1st round.

| Re: Predict Our Front Seven Starters For the 3-4 I see him as more likely a mid to late 3rd rounder, and when all is said and done I think we'll have that pick to be able to take Spikes. But I'm just purely guessing here
