| Re: AH trade II La Canfora insists AH is indeed on the trading block. Actually JLC works for the NFL Network, Schefter works for ESPN. If I remember right Schefter switched companies, and then JLC was hired to replace him at the NFLN. |

| Re: AH trade II La Canfora insists AH is indeed on the trading block. AH should be happy to do anything the Skins want him to do. He should be the most positive guy out there. He should show up early and be a team leader. Why? He got paid 21 million dollars. That's what we paid him for. |

| Re: AH trade II La Canfora insists AH is indeed on the trading block. ^^ Agree with this. I know when I am paid to do a job I show up. For that kind of money the guy should be happy to do whatever the skins want him to.

For the life of me, i don't get why so many her: 1) completely discredit JLC; 2) put 100% faith in everything Schefter reports when there are multiple, obvious reasons why we should question what he says about the skins; and 3) treat everything the FO or coaching staff says as gospel, when misdirection and deception are every team strives for this time of year. Personally, if JLC or another sports analyst says one thing, and the team is saying the exact opposite (either through official channels or through schefter), it makes me 100% convinced that the report is true and the team is lying. When the reports agree with what the team is saying, its then that I have no idea what to beleive.

| Re: AH trade II La Canfora insists AH is indeed on the trading block. bruce allen's Q&A presser yesterday was pretty funny. started off with "i will attempt to not lie to you. (crowd chuckles at our so charming he almost disalarming hair piece, bruce allen). key word attempt. okay lets get these questions rolling!" okay the stuff after crowd chuckled was unnecessary and probably didnt happen but the man has podium presence people. i also dont get why people bash PFT and other sources. florio and PFT pretty much gather all of the nfl team's beat writers articles, blogs, tweets and then colloborates them all in one easy to reference and find source. does he speculate at potential trade partners, etc. yes. but i take it for the information that is in the article he is citing and speculating from. his editorial comments, are just that, opinion which i am also cool with as the man knows how to stir a pot. honestly, florio has made a good bit of change and name recognition just by relentlessly surfing the web for any scantila of nfl news and puts them all in one place so we dont have to. there is a huge need for any rampant speculative maybe breaking news in the nfl, and the man is filling that need and his pockets.

| Re: AH trade II La Canfora insists AH is indeed on the trading block. yeah PFT has gotten better.. at least in this offseason.. and yeah it's pretty much just aggregated content with a bit of speculation.. even if we think that Florio can be a douche we pretty much still use his site JLC also said that we were in the running for Dansby, Porter, etc.. he just hasn't really been on point about much in regards to us this year |

People are saying that Schefter should be the reporter that we are leery of, I think it is much more likely that they would use Jared to deliver their propeganda. One, the team does not like him (and rightfully so). Two, who cares if you make him look stupid with bad information, he furthered his career at the expense of your team. Three, they could filter this b.s. out there to see if there is any legitimate market for some of these guys. Shanahan did not have to say anything about Al's status, yet he was very declarative that they were not trying to trade him. Shanahan did not have to say that but he was pretty blunt. Plus, Haslett said that he has all kinds of plans outside of nose tackle for Al. I hope we keep Godzilla and make Jared LaCanfora look like an idiot. Screw him. | |

| Re: AH trade II La Canfora insists AH is indeed on the trading block. If we're comparing JLC and Schefter talking about any of the other 31 teams in the league, i'd agree. but the fact is JLC (along with pretty much everyone else) have cited multiple, unnamed sources saying the skins will move haynesworth. Schefter, who gets his information from shanahan, who has every reason to lie, is the only one saying otherwise. combine all this with: 1) JLCs report that the skins will do something major this week 2) The skins desire to trade Campbell and the Rams interest in a QB 3) The Rams desire to trade out of the #1 overall pick and willingness to do so on the cheap 4) The skins interest in Adam Carriker and I think we could end up doing this: Skins trade the #4 overall pick, Jason Campbell, and Albert Haynesworth to St Louis. (St Louis trades down from the #4 overall pick with a team [possibly Philidelphia] that wants to jump ahead of Kansas City and select Eric Berry.) The Rams send the #1 overall pick and Adam Carriker to the Redskins. The Redskins select Sam Bradford. Donovan McNabb and Rocky McIntosh are traded to the Raiders for Thomas Howard and their 2nd round pick.

| Re: AH trade II La Canfora insists AH is indeed on the trading block. It doesnt freaking matter. If someone offers a first round pick for McNabb, we might take the deal. Every player is considered as trade-able if the right offer comes along. There is obviously a bit more with AH, but I think the position thing is a bit blown out of proportion. Also, he was clearly out of shape and did better in TN when he did his own thing. Why not pay big bucks to get in shape, the way you think is best for you? Doesnt matter what is expected, as long as he shows and is in shape who cares? I have a feeling this is all going to blow over after AH shows up to manditory workouts and is in shape.

| Re: AH trade II La Canfora insists AH is indeed on the trading block. I find that Shanahan's comments about having 2 sacks or more meaning there's something wrong either really stupid, just a complete fabrication, or disinformation. Unless Shanahan wants to burn bridges with his buddy in Schefter, I don't see him so blatantly lying to Schefter. |

| Re: AH trade II La Canfora insists AH is indeed on the trading block. Who knows what to believe about Albert Haynesworth anymore? There have been so many different stories circulating over the last several weeks it would take a genius to unravel them all. His threads are about to eclipse those of LaVar Arrington and I really thought that would take some doing. Thursday can't come fast enough for me, maybe then some of these stories will begin to subside. |
