I think most people agree that the first girl who accused Ben was crazy and making it up for money or attention. So lets say that this girl who is accusing Eric Foster has just as much merit to her story as the girl who is currently accusing Ben. Do they both get in the same amount of trouble suspension wise?

Who the hell does that at 8am? Not that it's acceptable anytime?

I mean you wake up and say hey.. got the conference championship game today, gotta force my way into some vag first though!

It's a totally different world today. Years ago the female would have had the burden of proof, now the male has it. Pretty much guilty until proven innocent.
Of course, men got away with too much for too long, and now every man has to be very careful around women these days. Any comment or contact can lead to a misunderstanding.

Pro athletes and famous men in general are probably so use to women 'throwing themselves', that they just think every female will. Even if the Athlete is 100% innocent, the chances of him winning in court seem remote. Picture a 120lb female with tears, against a 6'3"-260lb football player. A picture is a 1,000 words.

Having said that if the guy is guilty, he should pay big time.

in general, i understand why Ben gets more attention.... he's a QB, a superbowl winner, "face of" one of the most storied franchises... this other guy is "just an anonymous lineman." ok, i get it. it wont be a media circus, he's not Ben, let along Tiger. but it will be interesting to see the punishment from the league. will it be harsher (cuz he's more of a nobody and no one cares/watches) or will it be more lenient (for the same reason).

Well, I don't think Ben was "guilty until proven innocent" at least in terms of the law. Not saying, based on all the evidence, that the prosecutor's refusal to indict was wrong - just emphasizing that the "Court of Public Opinion" is not the one which is gonna send you to jail.

In this case, based on the article Chicago paper, the police f'd this one up royal. The woman goes to them, offers here uniform as evidence and they refuse it, don't even attempt to interview the accused, have the accuser take a four hour lie detector test, and, apparently, don't even go to the alleged crime scene. Bad bad bad - no way any one gets a conviction now.
