| And the Brett Favre saga begins again lol Brett Favre to require surgery on ankle to play for Minnesota Vikings in 2010 - ESPN Well every year it seems we always discuss the chances of Brett Favre playing or retiring. I think he has the surgery and plays next season, what do you folks think? FAVRE WATCH 2010 LOL

| Re: And the Brett Favre saga begins again lol It wouldn't be an offseason without a Favre watch. I definitely think he's playing. We'll see the same situation as last year, he'll show up at the end of camp. |

| Re: And the Brett Favre saga begins again lol His ankle looked nasty at the end last year. I am sure he comes back, but whether he survives another year? I don't know about that. |

| Re: And the Brett Favre saga begins again lol It just would not be a real offseason without Favre drama. If he wants to play, he needs the surgery. If he wants to walk in his 60's, he'll have the surgery. Therefore I predict that he will have the surgery and return to the Vikes.

| Re: And the Brett Favre saga begins again lol We all know ESPN donkeys get a hard-on talking about the Favre so we'll continue to suffer. I guess if I'm a Vikings fan I'd want to know what the SOB is planning to do. What I do know is that without him the Vikings are no better than an 8 win team.

| Re: And the Brett Favre saga begins again lol The season is what, 4 months away? His timing of announcing this need for surgery is curious. |

| Re: And the Brett Favre saga begins again lol I don't really blame Brett for this annual circus, he makes his decision when he does. It's the media led by ESPN who has to start hourly Brett Favre updates and discussions for 4 months nonstop. I'm sure he's not the only older player who takes time to make the decision to come back any given year...but he's the only one we have to hear about day after day after day. I like the fact he can mock the whole situation on Sear's commercials. ![]() Seriously, I get sick of hearing the lead story every hour being "will he play or not!?!?" There are far better stories they could be wasting their time on.
