Well...I guess voluntary mod camp is now over for me. Back to work

You were already banned once for a reason, if you wanted to come back you should have checked with the mods first.

Take a 6 month break (it'll probably be longer but we'll let The Ego decide that)

Besides enjoying your ban, please edit your t-shirt to be grammatically correct.

^ Like I'm going to buy a t-shirt with an obvious grammatical mistake.

If you want to advertise with us that's fine, send me an email, otherwise pimp your junk elsewhere. And don't create another account. You were banned for a reason.

Re: More Motivation For McNabb

Lol nice ban.

Back to the thread. They had Jackson on NFL Live tonight and he said that quote was taken out of context from a question which basically asked him how he feels Kolb will do now that McNabb is gone. Went on to say he wishes McNabb the best and that he already talked to McNabb right when he heard about the trade wishing him good luck.

Over now? Can we accept it is media hype and a slow offseason?

Re: More Motivation For McNabb

He's right. I heard the entire quote on M&M.....pretty harmless stuff. It WAS taken out of context...imagine that?

Re: More Motivation For McNabb

I love how hard it is for me to find a link to this, as no outlet wants to report that the media would take quotes out of context.

Eagles' DeSean Jackson: 'I never had no problem with (Donovan) McNabb' - The Huddle: Football News from the NFL - USATODAY.com

Re: More Motivation For McNabb

This all started because some reporter used selective quotes at Sporting News when talking to Jackson. Another reporter got excited when he saw the article and used those quotes to ask McNabb a pointed question.

End result: 3 days worth of news, a ton of website hits, ad revenue, etc. I love this world we live in...

Exactly. The kid had a monster entrance to the NFL these past two seasons thanks in large part to McNabb. Like I said from the start- his comments were more of an endorsement of Kolb (and Vick apparently) than a condemnation of McNabb. People love to freak out.

Re: More Motivation For McNabb

This is how I usually feel after hearing guys like Desean Jackson and Dez Bryant speak.

"From what I'm told, he can play the mod spot," Daniels said. "I've called him and told him that. The thing is, we have 100 percent participation if he is here. It's now 99. He's got to be here."

"There is no room for negotiation at 4-12," Daniels added, referring to the '09 season. "I'm here, Quake's here, everybody's here," Daniels added. "He's got to understand that. We need him to come here, be here and show these young guys that the veterans have bought in and that we want to win games."
