| Re: Springs Released Springs was past his prime when he was here the last time. He was old, slow, and more injury prone than CP. He was one of my favorites here and a true redskin, but it hurt me to see his last couple seasons here, when he had lost more than a step...

The funny thing is, we need a starting free safety...I know Springs aint that...but it wouldn't suprise me if he ended up in a similar role somewhere (assuming he is in playing shape) The guy was one of my favorite defenders. He was pretty solid for us at corner all those years, I know he isn't the same guy anymore, but I still think the guy could play ball. I am suprised that he suposedly failed a physical (a link would be cool)...that is pretty bad for a DB...probably the kiss of death if true.
