Yes because they came close to losing by allowing Kolb to throw 5 yd passes all afternoon.

I have to agree with Matty. Haslett did not blitz the hell out of the guy because it has been killing us the last few weeks. He coached us to a victory. It is much better than sitting here and talking about how Macklin and Jackson each had a big play that changed the game.

No comment from me here about the D. If anything I have a problem with the offense getting shut out in the second half. Not with holding the Eagles to 7 points. Although I was very much in doubt that we would win the game in the end.

If we beat Green Bay next week, I will believe.

I think we were all concerned about the all out blitzing approach the first 3 weeks, so they dial it back and people are still complaining.

When you blitz,there's a lot of reward at a big risk.

Haslet was trying to keep the ball in front of the defense with the eagles out of TO's with under a minute or so to go.

More likely,when you blitz and the QB hits his man..is a big gainer if not a TD. That's why.

and with the WR's the eagles have,I don't blame haslet at all for playing soft with a 5 pt lead.
Yes.they were dinkin' and dunkin' but they were 5,6,7 yard dunks...as time was ticking..

We blitz heavy and Kolb hits jackson on a 5 yard crossing route over the middle like bradford was doing and it's 6 pt's and eagles win.

We didn't play GREAT,but we were a hell of a lot better than we've played in the last 2 weeks.
I was very impressed with our run defense as well.

Hey guys...we're 2-2 with a 2-0 Division record and 2-1 conference record and the packers coming to our yard man!!

Yes. And they beat us with a couple of screens early in the game, so anyone with a brain is going to rein in the blitzes.

I think are DF was better, the sheagles only took what we gave them no big plays and they only got the middle of the field 5 to 20yds.
