| Re: Redskins 2010 Body Count I agree when we play teams and hurt their best players unless we knocked them out early we will make it easier for our NFC East rivals when they play the teams we knocked out their top players. I do like how we are flying to the ball.

| Re: Redskins 2010 Body Count If it makes people feel better we can change the title to "Players injured while playing against the Redskins." I just find it interesting how many players come out of the games lame after having played the Skins. |

Personally I'd rather "injure" less opponents and trade it for giving up less than 420 yards of offense per game.

It's bad karma to cheer injuries IMO. I've always felt that way. We've had so much bad luck in recent years with injuries, I refuse to get happy about knocking out other players. And I'm very focused on how the team is playing. Sure we're physical and all on defense. We're also getting gashed at a clip that is on pace to make us one of the worst defenses in league history yardage-wise. I don't give a crap if guys happen to get banged up while playing us. I'd prefer to be a little more stout frankly. through six games, the Redskins are not just last in the league in yards allowed; they are, at 420 yards per game, on pace to fit in with the most generous defenses in league history. The record for yards allowed in a season is 6,793 - an average of 424.6 yards a game - by the 1981 Baltimore Colts, a team that went 2-14. The next most is 6,470 yards (404.4 per game) by the 2008 Detroit Lions, a team that went 0-16. washingtonpost.com

| Re: Redskins 2010 Body Count GMScud- I was trying to say superstitions. It was late and had a hard time spelling it. The point I was trying to make was, while some of us think that we can affect a game by things we say, wear, or do on a Sunday before a game. It actually has no bearing at all on the football game. We as fans have no effect ( as much as we would like to think we do at times ) on how our beloved team plays and the out come of a game. I used to think this was the case, and to be honest it is a sympton of being a fan/fanatic. We can write say, do, and wear what ever we like and it will have no effect on how our team performs. Back in the 80s and early 90s I was a young lad. I just enjoyed watching, talking, and smack talking any teams fans who we played. Most of the time we won, won big, and won championships. Some time in the early 2000s when we sucked I started to keep my thoughts to myself, think that I had a lucky jersey because we actually won the day I wore and lost the days I didn't. BUT I was somewhat of a fool. What I did had no bearing on how bad the Redskins were run, coached, and how the players on the team couldn't play as a unit. It was just a sympton of being a bad franchise. Most of the time bad franchises lose. Now we have this thread here and I wanted to kind of clear the air on my own fandom and was reading some comments about how this thread is bad jujuj and bad karma. Well it has no bearing on it all. We could have a rash of injuries this week, next week, or at any point in the season, and it will not be because of a thread on our message board. We are fans we love the team and we want to win. Go ahead and say, do , and wear whatever you like. we arent going to effect the team. The only effect we can have on the team is to cheer and play the 12th man role as best we can at home games.

| Re: Redskins The Bears did bang him up, but somehow we are playing so physical right now that our defense will be credited for putting out players that we didn't even play against that day. Didn't you see what we did to D. Jackson, Josh Cribbs, and the other Brown's WR last Sunday? (face palm)
