![]() That'd be like me saying DeAngelo Hall is the worst corner of all time, then trying to imply what I'm saying is that the Redskins are having a bad season. | |

| Re: Graham Gano has to Go !! Tell you what.... locate a kicker who's better then Gano, send him to Redskins Park, and have him try out for the Skins. He/She does better and Gano is replaced all us fans will look at you like a demi god. Maybe. |

| Re: Graham Gano has to Go !! Come on now, all of us were singing his praises a few weeks ago. Let the guy finish the season and then start a dump Gano thread if he truly sucks. Our offensive woes have a lot more to do with things not pertaining to Gano. But I think we should try and draft a K soon, preferably one that has a knack for making the clutch kicks. Thing is there isn't too many to choose from every year. |

| Re: Graham Gano has to Go !! Gano will be just fine. People forget about some of the big kicks that he has made , including the FGs to tie and beat Green Bay. Who have we had better on kickoffs in the last decade, with the possible exception of John Hall before he hurt his leg? Gano will eventually be an above average kicker for a long time in this league. Hopefully Shanny will be patient enough to let it happen here, because I could see him becoming another David Akers for someone else if we cut him. |

| Re: Graham Gano has to Go !! Gano won't stuggle in Detroit, because its a dome. I would hate to be Robbie Gould and have to kick in Chicago 8 times a year. These dome kickers have it made. |

| Re: Graham Gano has to Go !! Or a kicker for Green Bay. Probably feels like kicking a cinder block.

| Re: Graham Gano has to Go !! I totally agree that we should KEEP him. He is young, has a great leg, has made great kicks, and again, HE IS YOUNG! I love his kickoffs as well. I think accuracy will come with maturity. |

| Re: Graham Gano has to Go !! FOOTBALL OUTSIDERS: Innovative Statistics, Intelligent Analysis | 2010 SPECIAL TEAMS RATINGS Can't underestimate the role of kick coverage in this rating, but only Atlanta, Baltimore, and Seattle have even 50% of our kickoff unit value. A lot of that is power and directional accuracy from Gano.

| Re: Graham Gano has to Go !! i honestly can't believe all the Gano lovers on here. The fact is there is one kicker statistically worse than him. So, how much worse could it possibly get. Fact is, he is missing some pretty damn improtant field goals. Not just this year either, he missed a few important ones last year. One that comes to mind was the Cowboys game that would have won the game. He hasn't shown me anything on a consistant basis worth of giving him a pass. It isn't like the kid misses from just 45 and over. He misses from any distance. What was it last week...35, 37 yards?? Come on, that should be freaking automatic. that isn't the first one he has missed from that range either. The only reason all these lovers are here is because we haven't lost the games (except Texans) where the field goals mattered. Those ones he has missed (chicago, green bay, dallas) if we lose those games his kicks would have made all the difference. I am sorry, i was a Gano fan because the kid has a leg, no doubt. But I will take a guy that can bang 40-43 yards in on a consistant basis than a guy that "could" be good, and has a leg to make from 50+ easlily. I am tired of the freaking revolving door of kickers at Redskin park. We can never find a guy that is any good. I would be bringing someone in and giving them a chance. We have 9 games left, and all but one has come down to the last minute, and withing 3 to 5 points. Field goal kicking is brutally important and we are suffering in that part of the game. |
