| Re: What's up with all this Mike Vick talk? There's a log jam at QB in Philly as they have 2 legit starters. I wouldnt be surprised if Philly decides 1 will be the starter and moves the other. To answer the question do I want MV here? No, he's a nice regular season QB but his run & throw style just doesnt win Super Bowls. |

| Re: What's up with all this Mike Vick talk? I have to believe that the front office and shannahan are trying to change the culture of the team, they passed on numerous Diva WRs this year and I have to believe that has alot to do with what type of people they were (Holmes, TO, Moss, I don't know anything about Boldin other than he is tough as a coffin nail) so if that is true then no way we bring in Mike Vick AKA Ron Mexico. Plus he hurts marketing to a certain extent and Snyder wont let that happen. |

Shanahan couldn't give a damn about off the field issues so long as on the practice field and gameday, you do your work. Brandon Marshall is the perfect example. Vick's issues are totally outside of football itself. He's not taking plays off, he's not skipping film practice, he's not displaying "laziness" of any sort with regards TO FOOTBALL.

| Re: What's up with all this Mike Vick talk? Mike Vick is going to get an effing HUGE contract at the end of the year. Guy is playing lights out AGAIN. But I would pass on Vick...to much of an injury risk

| Re: What's up with all this Mike Vick talk? What has happened to Vick over his career to make you say that?? he got hit in the ribs this year...but I can't recall other than that where he missed serious time....definatley not like McNabb, who has missed at least 4 games a year in every season except 1 that I can think of...

| Re: What's up with all this Mike Vick talk? Vick is more of a pocket passer than he used to be but he still doesnt have the deft touch of a true passer. He is excellent at throwing long bullet passes to wide open receviers but I dont think he can throw a short touch pass very well. I'm still not sold on MV. |

| Re: What's up with all this Mike Vick talk? Vick has played better than Philly themselves expected of him, but I think people want to be careful before they anoint him Philly's franchise QB. The offense fits him like a glove and he looks very, very comfortable. On the downside, he's still one of the most frequently sacked players in NFL history and that no-turnovers rate is certain to regress starting next week vs. us. If there's any one area he's improved since his days as a Falcon, it's probably his running. He used to run for a lot of yards and big plays in the past, usually leaving passing opportunities on the table. This year he's running with a purpose and using his legs when the options downfield are less than ideal (i.e. not open), and he's extending drives with his legs which makes him a lot more difficult to defend. This is also as accurate as I've ever seen him, which is obviously a bonus for Philly.

| Re: What's up with all this Mike Vick talk? Whatever happens, in this league of serious lacking of starting QB talent, Vick is going to get paid, big time. Whoever signs him will be taking a risk.
