As I said, in the end this has nothing to do with the team and I hope the team doesn't revert back to the days when Snyder made bad decisions and/or hired bad decision makers.

Don't want me to talk about Snyder, then don't start a thread about him. I assure you I won't be starting one just to talk about him. No, I'm having to explain to people who keep saying "it doesn't matter because it has nothing to do with the Redskins". Most of us see the bigger picture in all of this.

In the end, it's clear indication that Snyder is still Snyder. So how long till Snyder goes back to destroying the Redskins even more?

I guess the answer to my question is: Nothing.

I didn't start this thread. And ur right in wondering if Snyder wil go back to destroying the Skins by making bad decisions. But it won't happen b/c Snyder is suing a newspaper. It will happen the day he goes back to hiring bad decision makers.

I understand what some of the complaints ppl are making but it is not like he firing Shanahan or Allen. He's just suing a freaking paper.

Re: Snyder writes open letter to Washington Post regarding City Paper lawsuit

Redskins say City Paper lawsuit was a warning to the media - DC Sports Bog - The Washington Post

Tony Wyllie has to be the dumbest mother ****er there is in the PR industry. How this clown made it to this level is beyond me.

Quote:
“Some people ask, ‘Well, are you firing a warning shot to other members of the media? And I’d probably say ‘yes,’ ” he said, according to a live blog moderated by a Maryland professor. Wyllie added: “We’re not trying to be bullies, as someone depicted us as. Basically it’s just about writing the truth. We’re not trying to make anyone afraid; ”
I love how this lawsuit started about "fighting for making fun of my wife's fight against cancer and jewish heritage" to a........."this is about the truth, that's all we want" lawsuit. These idiots are such huge liars dumbasses, they can't even get their story straight. I have to read no further than David Donovan's letter to the City Paper to know it was a scare/bully tactic.
Letter from Washington Redskins General Counsel David Donovan to Atalaya Capital Management LP
It's never been about the truth. It's been about putting a bully down that has been a thorn in Snyder's side.

Check out this gem from Tony.

Quote:
“All we wanted was the truth, the same thing that occurred up in Egypt where people were trying to find one thing -- people getting hurt and beat up to find one thing -- the truth,” Wyllie said. “And that’s what this is all about.”
Did this ****ing idiot compare Dan Snyder's petty crusade to that of the Egyptian's seeking freedom and justice? HAHAHAHAHAAHA.....

These are the idiots that control our beloved Redskins. Let's continue to hope their stupidity doesn't flow over into the football portion of this.

Speaking from experience, Tony Wyllie is actually one of the best PR people in the business. His relationship with the media as a whole is actually quite good, and better than previous PR people at Redskin Park

And that's all I'm going to say about this

I confess that for tabloid gossip, I do find it interesting and rather telling of the caliber of the "management". Clowns, all of 'em.

I've heard that he is very good at his job, and up until January, the guy has done a fantastic job with Snyder. He's been a huge upgrade over Karl Swanson, but it seems like he's lost his touch this year. You'd think after the first reaction to this whole thing they would have just dropped it, let it go on and be done with it. Like I said, we can only hope the bad decisions stay out of the football side of things. Hooray for having a good coach and GM. That much I can be thankful for at this time.

I understand you don't like this whole thing, so my suggestion to you would be just simply close the thread. Problem solved. I think most of realize his stupidity isn't affecting the Redskins directly as a team, but it's the bigger picture we are most afraid of. I'm sorry if you don't get that.

Best talking point I've ever heard in regards to Snyder, and you are absolutely right. I guess he really can't **** it up more than he already has. Well, that is unless he hires Vinny back..lol

Yeah and he at least seems to have finally learned his lesson with Vinny. Big win right there alone.

First off NC Skins, you have been right this entire thread. The reason people cant say who gives a shit or who cares is because Danny and company continue to bring this kind of crap up. Its not us that are keeping the issues alive its Danny. Again all he has to do is stop.

Secondly I thought I was crossing the line a little bit or making a slight stretch with my fun-spirited comparisons of Danny to Kim Jong il and fascism. However after seeing “one of the best PR people in the business” Tony Wyllie compare Danny’s lawsuit to Egyptian protestors Im starting to think otherwise. Tony and I are same page guys…..
