They are already guaranteed 8 figures for this year. So their signing bonus for a long term deal has to, as a rule of thumb, double what they are going to be making this year anyway. $20 million dollars up front for a center plus competitive salaries is a lot to spend on a player who isn't 23 years old and cannot singlehandedly change the direction of the offense. He would fill a gaping hole here. But if the Redskins were really serious about replacing Rabach, options to do so are readily available.

| Re: If You Could Add Just One Sydney Rice...I think they need lineman more but Rice is the best young player who is available for no compensation. Signing him is almost like buying an extra draft pick.

| Re: If You Could Add Just One honestly i want no one, i just want this team to come out and see where they are with the guys they have. we already made a solid move and got a proven safety, we had what seemed to be a solid draft, and let's face it the chances of us going to the playoffs is slim to none. let's evaulate the talent on hand and go from there, i wanna build a team this go round not try and buy one.

| Re: If You Could Add Just One I'm loving this Yanda kid, which means I'm going to be disappointed on Friday or two or three years from now when he manages to go from being the teams most steady lineman to it's biggest liability like a certain former Raven that went across the way to DC.
