When we traded the pick that could have had him for an over the hill quarterback, because we knew he was bad just by working him out.

When he threw those two long 4th Quarter TD's to Santana in Dallas on their Ring of Shame night.

Wasnt Shanny fired from Denver because of the recruiting violation? I sure didnt have a problem with 16 year old kid taking the field in Denver. That Clausen gotta lotta balls even though its been proven he's quite immature

Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 2

So it looks like Nate Clements is available. I wouldn't mind us taking a look at him.

Nate Clements is out after all in San Francisco | National Football Post

Scouting Report
Comment: Clements is a seasoned veteran who has been a starter for almost all of his previous nine years. He missed the last half of the 2009 season with a shoulder injury and finished with 35 tackles and one interception. He is a good-sized corner who has the strength to be physical at the line of scrimmage when jamming receivers. Clements has the speed and acceleration to get in the receiver's hip and trail him around the field. He has a quick hip flip to turn and run and can plant and drive with minimal excess movement in transition. He shows good route recognition and the ability to read the quarterback's eyes when in off coverage.

Swing and a miss. That's 0 for 2. I think you mean Cutler. We have had enough clutter as it is.

Yeah. I wouldn't mind Clements either BUT I think the bidding for him is going to be pretty high. I don't think he comes cheap. He's probably in Rodgers class but without the stone hands and I don't know how he would fit Haslett's system.

If they sign him great, if not, no big thing.
