Redskins Receivers Rotation

Tried to make the title alliterative per JoeRedskin's request.

With three WRs added in one day, figured it might make sense (again per JR's request) to have one thred dedicated to all of them.

This is certainly one of the more bizarre days I can remember for Redskins moves.

I also don't think Stokley will even make the final roster and probably doesn't merit his own move.

Anyhow, let's discuss the WR situation here

Reminds me of last years RB situation. Bring in a bunch of knowns/unknowns and let them compete in training camp. I like it.

Good call, I was about to do this.

As far as your point in bold- to say the least.

Maybe we're stockpiling mediocrity with the hope that we can build all these guys into one giant, super good receiver?

It's simple. KS realized that McNabb was right and no qb should wear a wrist band. So every down we will send in a full set of QB/WR's so that they all know the play ahead of time.

Braylon Edwards
Leonard Hankerson
Santana Moss
Anthony Armstrong

Gaffney/Paul

Everyone else is released

If I remember correctly they gave Austin a look as a return man last year.

I still think we may end up signing one of the other receivers out there like a Breaston or Jones. But man, Stokley, Gaffney, Stallworth all on the same day? Bizarre indeed.

At the end of the day, I'm more excited for Hankerson than anyone else.
