The small blessing is the timing of this. He should be ready to go by camp next year.

This sucks for him. I hope he works really hard on his recovery cause he can play in this league.

Damn that sucks.. Shame that he's going to miss his rookie season because he was reportedly the star of camp. Expect Daniels to re-sign sometime after game one so they don't have to guarantee his contract. Man, this is a huge bummer.

This is why you always take BPA. You just don't know what will happen in the future with regards to a currently "set" position. They just might not be as good as you think they are. Then, in couple years, that "set" position suddenly becomes a weakness.
