| Mad props to Cam Newton I figured an NFL record 400 yards passing in his NFL debut was worth it's on thread. I'll say I was one to call him a total bust but now I think this dude could be for real. Yes it's only one game but that's a damn good sign for panthers fans.

| Re: Mad props to Cam Newton What a way to silence your detractors. I've never seen a QB more criticized coming out of college than Cam Newton. I guess dominating the SEC, winning the Heisman and National Championship wasn't enough for some people. |

| Re: Mad props to Cam Newton Yeah, that guy was so hyped up before the draft, you couldn't help but almost wish he was a dud, but damn what a turn around from a horrid preseason. If this keeps up most of us in here will eat crow. I say that because it is one game against the Cards. I think Cam had way more critics in here than sympathizers. It is too bad he is on such a bad team, but in a few seasons with him there, they can turn it around. |

Regardless of the shitty defense, he still put up 400 yards against another NFL team as a rookie. That's ****ing impressive no matter who you are. Kudos to the rook. Hope he proves me wrong and I"ll gladly eat that full setting of crow. I'm not going to eat the full crow yet since it's only one game, but I'll have a crow wing with BBQ sauce please.
