I still believe Hall should know better and act better, especially since he is a team captain. In the heat of the moment, everyone makes stupid decisions, and clearly Hall made one. However, I like the response from the coaches and the players; and I do agree this is nothing compared to what happened in the past. One concern that I've had about this team is their ability to deal with issues like this one. And from what I read in this article, they seem to be handling it much better than before.

I'm not going to hate on Hall for that play because he's been pretty decent for the most part this season. The defense has been stellar on 3rd downs and he's a part of that as well. The thing that irks me the most is last year how he trashed Haslet for not putting him on the best receiver, claimed it was "his" team, and still allows the big plays from WRs. Just shut up is my point.

I'd probably have reacted the same way. Some people wear their emotions on their sleeve, and Hall is one of them. There are a lot of poor cover corners in the NFL. If Hall's behavior on the field and in the locker room wasn't so out of line with all of the most similar NFL players, I really don't think he'd be such a polarizing player. I think we'd all just accept him for who he is: a Washington Redskin. But the fact that he acts like a man who we don't want to define "Washington Redskin" is what makes him so polarizing.
