| Re: WP: Redskins’ Hall takes shots at ref and own coaches after 18-16 loss to Cowboys I said last week that Hall was classless after his Tony Romo comments. Some of you looked at me like I was crazy. Now I shall present you with my follow up response through the use of beautiful "I was right" music.

| Re: WP: Redskins’ Hall takes shots at ref and own coaches after 18-16 loss to Cowboys DeAngelo Hall of Washington Redskins explains his 'overzealous' rant - ESPN After reading this article, I am pleased at the way that the team and Hall responded to this situation. I still believe Hall should know better and act better, especially since he is a team captain. In the heat of the moment, everyone makes stupid decisions, and clearly Hall made one. However, I like the response from the coaches and the players; and I do agree this is nothing compared to what happened in the past. One concern that I've had about this team is their ability to deal with issues like this one. And from what I read in this article, they seem to be handling it much better than before.

I would him rather not say anything or simply say "we didn't execute". I'm not going to hate on Hall for that play because he's been pretty decent for the most part this season. The defense has been stellar on 3rd downs and he's a part of that as well. The thing that irks me the most is last year how he trashed Haslet for not putting him on the best receiver, claimed it was "his" team, and still allows the big plays from WRs. Just shut up is my point.

Let's see...which games will our cover-0 blitz be torched thanks to Hall. Kolb and Romo have had their moment of glory. Cam Newton might...Tom Brady sure as hell will...Sidney Rice has the talent....

I also see Hall's point as well though, he was severely pissed about losing this game, and he didn't cool down, and then they stuck a microphone in front of his face. I'd probably have reacted the same way. Some people wear their emotions on their sleeve, and Hall is one of them. Still though, I hope this game is fresh on their minds when the Cowboys come to Fedex. | |

There are a lot of poor cover corners in the NFL. If Hall's behavior on the field and in the locker room wasn't so out of line with all of the most similar NFL players, I really don't think he'd be such a polarizing player. I think we'd all just accept him for who he is: a Washington Redskin. But the fact that he acts like a man who we don't want to define "Washington Redskin" is what makes him so polarizing.
