| Re: Redskins Weekly Power Rankings Power Rankings in football haven't been much fun for me since the Caps started regularly appearing in the top 3 on the NHL power rankings. Now everytime I see my favorite team ranked outside the top 5 I feel like we're a huge failure. Flowers for Algernon type deal. Still no need to get ahead of ourselves. This time in 2008 we were ranked 3rd by ESPN after having been ranked 6th the previous week. After a loss to the Rams we dropped to 5 where we stayed until that wonderful Monday Night Contest against the Steelers. Washington Redskins 2008 NFL Power Rankings - ESPN

| Re: Redskins Weekly Power Rankings The knee jerk reaction of power rankings is what gets me. A team wins a few games, and somehow instead of below average, they are above average, or jumping 10-15 spots in their rankings. The redskins are still an average team, so anything above 15 is too much. |

| Re: Redskins Weekly Power Rankings yeah, 12-16 is where i'd put us... i honestly wonder if some of these guys even watched a single redskins game. our offense isn't what it needs to be, though our D has been pretty good.

| Re: Redskins Weekly Power Rankings Surprised that Don Banks at SI.com puts us at 10. Isn't he the one who said a few years back that we were "the worst 3-0 team in NFL history"? Jerk. |

| Re: Redskins Weekly Power Rankings The Redskins have a lot to prove, so lets start against the Eagles. So far we beat the Giants who had some injuries on defense. The Cards have 1 win over the Panthers and were destroyed by the Vikings last week. The Rams have zero wins and we lose to the Cowboys who were without Miles Austin. If we want respect then we better beat the Eagles who are 1-4 and we are at home. JUST WIN BABY
