| Re: Redemption Week!! This is a big time text for the Redskins this Sunday. 1.We can beat a division rival 2. We can crush Philly's playoff hopes. 3. We can have 2 games up in the divison if the Cowboys and Giants lose. 4.We are 4-1 heading into Carolina next week. 5. Defending homefield can we win our home games? This is the week the offense has to move the ball and score points. The wide receiver's have to step up and have a big day when the ball is thrown to them. We can't just run the ball every play cause philly will play 8 in the box to stop us from running the ball. Fred Davis can have a big game against the LB's of the Eagles. I'm calling out the offense this week to get it done if we want to to give the Eagle a big L.

| Re: Redemption Week!! Interestingly (at least to me), this will be the first opponent this year that we don't have a FA starter from them: NYG - Cofield Ari - Hightower Dallas - Bowen St. Louis - Atogwe |

| Re: Redemption Week!! Wow, forgot about him, but hey-he's just the punter :cheeky-sm Still interesting how much of our FA signings came from opponents we play this year early, I wonder if it had to do with focused study on early opponents. I don't know, probably just coincidence, but I don't think that happens a ton around the league. |

| Re: Redemption Week!! Did Rex not replace McNabb last year at the mid point? That's why I said no improvement, cause he took over last year.

| Re: Redemption Week!! I think some are giving way too much credit to Philly. Sure they have talent at the skill positions but they simply are not playing good fundamental football and they have glaring weaknesses on the OL and in their LB corps. |

We are by no means a team who can survive a shootout with Philly, we are not built like that. We need to control the ball on offense and keep the Iggles off the field. Time of possesion, we are averaging something like 33 mins per game, thats helping us win. Run the ball.

| Re: Redemption Week!! Yeah with all the yards and points they put up, they also shoot themselves in the foot time and time again with turnovers. That's a big problem, and more than just a little bad luck. |

| Re: Redemption Week!! I saw an interview with "someone" who questioned whether the Iggles players had really prepared themselves or did they think they would just walk over people? I'm not sure if that's part of their problem or not but their defense can definitely be taken advantage of.

| Re: Redemption Week!! What I do like with the match up, is Philly has a ton of pressure on them. This is a must win for them early. AND this type of must win has job implications on the coaching staff. I really believe for the first time in Reid's career that the calls for his firing along with his Defense cordinator (Juan) are very valid. Leadership on that team is a mess too. Vick has looked bad on camera lately and too many new guys on that defense.
