As I've said before, in the end this isn't much of a victory, since it clearly shows that this guy was an issue and the MS should've gotten rid of him as soon as he started here (and get that 3rd rounder that according to rumors got offered for AH).
Two totally different situations. The Pats had a hell of a lot less invested in AH. AH took the huge payout from the Redskins so they were not going to reward him after paying that amount of jack. Pretty much a common sense move for the Redskins.

I do not believe Shanahan cared much about the payout involved as long as it didn't affect the cap. What he saw probably was an extremely talented guy that could pay huge dividends if it worked out. Remember, he's a new guy then and didn't know AH's mind or history that well. He was making a decision that had a degree of uncertainty involved. It's clear he wasn't the only one willing to take a chance on hoping AH pans out.

Ultimately, the loss was more psychological than tangible. A toxic workplace was the ultimate loss for the players on the team. Draft picks are valuable for a rebuilding team, but at the same time, the loss of a 3rd rounder in exchange for a 5th rounder is not the end of the world.

I love how some Bucs fans are loving this move. I dunno. Maybe it'll work out for him. He's finally back in the 4-3.

You can't fix fat lazy and stupid.

EDIT: I take that back. As a fat, lazy, and stupid person who is actively trying to form better habits and become a better person, I realize it is doable. But you have to have the willpower to want to do that, and that's what's missing from Big Al.

So to summarize, what separates me from Big Al is I'm not satisfied with myself in any shape or form, and as long as he has millions in his bank account he's probably happy giving half ass effort and being a prick.

Can we please stop the madness. Please close, lock, burn this thread.

Apparently, Haynesworth's so fat and lazy that, even though he's moved on to a second team, his big fat ass can still be found on Warpath forums.

Please, everyone join me in the Anti-Albert Pledge: "I promise I will never, ever, EVER again post on any thread related to Haynesworth."

I wish this would really happen, but I doubt it.
