Report: Trent Williams and Fred Davis Facing Suspension

Per Adam Shefter via Yahoo report, Trent Williams and Fred Davis could be facing discipline for testing positive. They were 2 of 11 players named in a report to be released.

I think it's prolly weed or enhancers. Given both Trent and Davis have been nursing injuries, I'd say the latter. But that's speculation on my part.

If true, that is a huge ****ing fail. And positive for what? Performance enhancers or drug use? They should definitely know better.

If they're among the group of players mentioned in this article, then whatever drugs they were using was prior to training camp. Weed probably.

There you go guys, Shanahan says he likes to draft "character players" well here are two players that had questionable characters coming out of college. I understand he didn't draft Davis.

Yeah, sounds like weed to me. Either way I'm still disappointed in Davis and Williams, for all their talk about wanting to live up to their potential it just sounds like when the lockout was happening they were too content to act like the rules didn't apply. And De Smith is putting himself in a hard place, with all those promises he made to players that "fell through the cracks."

I hope they suspend them now since we're in a throw away year.
Wont matter that much anyways....need to protect next year.

Apparently, people are confuddling moral character with on-field performance, even though failure in one area has barely anything to do with the other. Both players, despite their stupidity in putting themselves in this situation, most likely DID NOT skimp on putting the work in with the coaches and the like, otherwise, they wouldn't be playing so well this season.

Considering that off-field activities, for the most part, have absolutely no relevance to on-field performance, your statement makes no sense.
