| Re: Smoot Lays the Smack Down (Cowboys at Redskins) well its like last year was the first full season...not great, but had potential. Fast forward this year, i think he has kicked better, but still leading the league in misses. Not ready to cut him, but bringing in some more, maybe stronger competition in the offseason wouldnt be a bad move. But I could probably say that for 75% of our starters.

| Re: Smoot Lays the Smack Down (Cowboys at Redskins) I'm not sure if I hate the Redskins more than I love them, and they can piss me off more than anything in the world. And I know I've been involved in arguments about the Skins on this site over the past few hours but to be honest, of all the complaints about the Skins I have after this game, I have to admit I'm really proud of the way the team got together and played football today. To be honest, I want Gano to work out. But a guy like Scobee is a beast to have as a kicker.

| Re: Smoot Lays the Smack Down (Cowboys at Redskins) I heard a stat on the pre game show and Orakpo has half a sack in division games and 25 non division. Mr Orakpo, you need to start playing big in the games that matter most. Right now Kerrigan is the better player. |

| Re: Smoot Lays the Smack Down (Cowboys at Redskins) DeAngelo Hall is overrated. His coverage skills are highly questionable. It seems he looks good against 'average' receivers, but when going against elite wideouts, he looks like garbage. |

| Re: Smoot Lays the Smack Down (Cowboys at Redskins) - Playcalling was marginally better today but still the league's lowest common denominator. Kyle's call to chuck it deep on 1st down w/ about 8:30 left in the 4th qtr was careless and stupid...when you add the fact Torain was (still) in the effing game and there was all kinds of field space open to run on that play: unforgivable. If the Shanahans are trying to lose at this point I'm ok w/ the play-calling and substitutions, but there's really know way for us to know. - Orakpo. I think he's mailed it in for the season. I won't be surprised if he wants a trade eventually because he seems like a no-nonsense kind of player and w/ the FO/coaching situation an effing travesty I can't blame him for (probably) wanting out. - DHall. Cut him...regardless of cap implications.

| Re: Smoot Lays the Smack Down (Cowboys at Redskins) Still here. Didn't see the game but I know he missed a game winning kick from 50 yards. So I say, what is the league average on 50 yarders? I'm going to take a wild guess and assume it's around 50 percent. Which is probably similar to Gano's average as well. And is it anything new that he's an inconsistent kicker? Put him in a better position to succeed and maybe he'll get better. We know he's got the leg to kick it 50 plus, but kicking is largely a mental game too. |

| Re: Smoot Lays the Smack Down (Cowboys at Redskins) Because we don't want Barkley nearly as much as we want Luck. Indy runs an offense which Barkley, Luck, or Landry Jones could be stars in. Us, it would probably be Luck, Landry, and RGIII.

| Re: Smoot Lays the Smack Down (Cowboys at Redskins) We haven't had a totally decent CB since Shawn Springs was playing. D. Hall is so overrated. How can he allow Dallas receivers to burn him two games straight? Just pathetic. Mike Shanahan needs to look at this roster with a critical eye once the season is over. He should ask himself the question, would the defense be better without certain people already here? That's including LaRon Landry, who hasn't done jack since since the first half of the 2010 season. |

| Re: Smoot Lays the Smack Down (Cowboys at Redskins) I really wan't to know what is holding back Helu from getting more carries this year. We are still handing the ball off to TFL Torain, and now Choice? Helu is averaging a solid YPC while others have not... It just seems he only comes in on passing downs, or when the Redskins want to pass and not use him in Pass Protection. It's almost a easy tell for the defenses when he comes into the game you can expect a pass
