| Grossman, Beck or-ton? Kyle Orton released by Denver. Shanahan have any interest? My bet is he would rather go to Houston or Chicago. Finish out the year with potential playoff teams. Then next year hit the FA market. |

| Re: Grossman, Beck or-ton? We have what 6 more games? I'd cut Beck, sign Orton and maybe if he knows enough of the plays by the last 2 games I'd start him to see if he's any better then Grossman. |

| Re: Grossman, Beck or-ton? ^ Too late for what? To change this season around? Agreed but he's gotta be better then Beck without any knowledge of the plays. We can see if he's worth keeping for next year with whatever Rookie we take. Unless he was already claimed. |

| Re: Grossman, Beck or-ton? Waiver claims are based off who has the worse record and the Skins record is worse then the Bears. However someone posted on another site the question that under the old CBA players who had been in the league over 4 yrs were not subject to the waiver wire, is the rule still in effect under the new CBA? Anyone should be able to sign him if he's not subject to it. |

| Re: Grossman, Beck or-ton? It's being reported that there are a few teams higher on the waiver wire list ie; Colts, Miami, Skins, and Chiefs. Media don't think the Chiefs will want him but the Colts, Miami, and Skins might be. |

| Re: Grossman, Beck or-ton? If he falls to the Bears in the waiver wire, I'd think they would have to grab him. They've had a great season so far, and it could unravel quickly with Haine at the helm.

| Re: Grossman, Beck or-ton? WHy would you want Orton. He has 0 experience in this system, and would be about 1 year and a half behind the other two QBs. You think you've seen ugly football, try getting a QB (who's marginal at best) and throw him into a system with no experience or no practice. you guys really do want to tank the season.

| Re: Grossman, Beck or-ton? This season is over bro. You might would have a point if this were the offseason. No use of bringing in the guy now.

| Re: Grossman, Beck or-ton? Orton isn't even good. The point is the Redskins are going to (I presume) pass on him now for the same reasons they passed on all quarterbacks with some skill before. They're more interested in finding the right guys to prove a point than they are in finding guys that can improve the offense. But hey, Donte Stallworth: 4 targets, 4 catches with a TD on Sunday. You win this round, Mike Shanahan!
