| Re: Laron Landry - Redskin for life? What is really amazing is the the blood platelet plasma "treatment" he is recieving, although being popularized by many athletes, has yet to sure true medical validity as a treatment. I don't know if he is afraid to have surgery or if he is using it as means to give him an out from the orginization, but I agree that we definitely can't have this be a yearly issue. |

| Re: Laron Landry - Redskin for life? Why does he want out? Can't take being with a coach that hold players accountable? Seeing his on his 2nd strike with the failed drug test policy, he's lucky to have a job.

Reread my post. I'm not saying give him a one year deal on a bum knee, I'm saying if the circumstances fit and coaches feel he can contribute, bring him back on a one year deal. I don't feel like creating another hole on this team and filling it with another free agent option. | |

I'm just telling it like it is. He can make whatever health choices he wishes, but if he makes choices which restrict his performance, the team will certainly take note.

| Re: Laron Landry - Redskin for life? One of the most respected drs in the field said they need to shave bone barbs down that are snagging the tendon... seems to me that rest and strengthening of the tendon won't take care of that alone.

| I know Landry has not performed well lately and his health is a question, but my paranoia leads me to the same conclusion that you have reached. Despite the negatives, I am reluctant to give up on the guy. I think we can do a short-term signing (one year) and see how it plays out. I say we keep him for 2012, provided we can get for the right price. |

| Re: Laron Landry - Redskin for life? I'm already looking forward to seeing Gomes play SS. He might not hit like LaRon Landry, but he's solid. Gomes is still young, and his rookie experience will aid him in defining his game more and more. |
