Honestly, we'd be better to grab a couple FA OL guys like Grubbs, Harris, or whoever because whether we plug in a vet QB or RGiii - that line has to be effective right away. Can't do that with an NFL learning curve.

And BTW - there are 600 FA's this year, most are unrestricted. I'm confident we will solidify the OL before the draft.

The Ravens have a lot of mouths to feed this offseason and Grubbs may get the short end. That would be a great pick up.

Do the Ravens pre-chew the food before they feed those mouths?

In this light, Steve Bisciotti is a carcass.

We need to improve our pass defence. Raheem Morris is a start. Getting rid of D Hall would also help. I just don't trust the guy to deliver when it matters.

Re: 2012 redskins

I thought we might need a pretty good laugh....
Babin agrees Eagles weren't far from Super Bowl

To me they may have had the better record but the looked like crap getting there. I thought the Skins had better team work. I mean who takes their OL coach and makes him the DC? Their whole DL looked like crap all year. "9-Wide" lol. and with out fixing that situation I don't see them doing any better. If I was Reid I'd move him back to OL where he had that team playing well and I'd go out and get a DC.

Hall will work out with some adjustments. We all know Hall is a risk taker. We need to have Jenkins come back healthy and be able to help the DL getting a better rush on the QB forcing bad throws. Also we need to go out and pick up in FA or draft a bonified FS. One that can play sideline to sideline and break up passes or make the tackle. I don't have a problem with Hall as long as we have over the top help for him when he wiffs on the INT.

Re: 2012 redskins

While it would be nice to add to our CB group, I would rather see our FO address the Safety position. I think we can survive with our current CBs, but I feel that our safety situation is up in the air with Landry being a question mark and Atogwe not being able to stay healthy.

So when Haslett runs his zone coverage scheme and all we have
are man-to-man cover corners we can be screwed?

Either we get a corner good at both or we need to make sure the opposite side is not a zone cover corner so the FS can roll to whatever side needs the help when it's not their style.

Thank You. I'm suprised at the fans saying we need a CB when we a ton on the roster. I'd rather the team go out and find a FS to replace Landry. To me Landry plays better at SS cause he just doesn't cover well. He's awesome on the line either stopping the run or rushing the QB. Doughty is a poor mans Landry.

We need a real FS.

I agree that the safety position is a higher priority. I look at those third and long cover zero blitzes that were ran and wonder how many were converted to first downs due to inadequate safety play. I also don't fault Hall for his performance in 2011. He should shoulder most of the blame, but the absence of saftey help and the front 7 allowing QBs ample time to pass make it difficult for most CBs to provide tight coverage. The fornt seven not getting pressure late in the game can be contributed to the offense not executing. Screw it I guess we need a QB...

I think that Barnes has played better at FS than at corner. Maybe if we added more corners we could slide him over.
