| Re: The "Inside Word" on the QB Search There's no inside basis for this, I'm just sayin that a three way trade would make tons of sense: - We get the 1st Overall from the Colts - Colts get the 2nd overall from the Rams plus some stuff from us - Rams get the 6th overall from us plus some stuff from us That way we pay a fortune but land Luck. Colts would still get RGIII to sit behind Manning. And the Rams, who don't need a QB, cash in on the #2 spot and slide down and stockpile picks. Seems like it'd make sense for all involved, even though this is all manufactured in my mind. |

| Re: The "Inside Word" on the QB Search i just really dont wanna end up giving up picks that we NEED, to try and get solid talent/depth... i really am high on Nick Foles AZ, but I could deal with Tannenhil... and I'm still hoping that Manning gets cut and we sign him, even if it is for 3 years or 4 till he gets hurt or just hangs it up.. let a kid come in here and learn under one of the best ever. and while he's learning Manning would hopefully have this team competing much better than we are used to. if No maning. I still say u draft Blackmon if available at 6... wait and see who falls to u at 6.... i'd even be happy with trading back if we couldnt get someone we need at 6... but get foles/tannenhil later (3) ... we have needs IMO more pressing than GIVING AWAY our draft. Keep Rex as a 2 or 3 or even to start regardless... i know he's not great but he's not awful either, he at least gives us a chance, and for all we know could improve givin a new deal of 3 years or so, however the circumstance ACTUALLY play out, we will see.

| Re: The "Inside Word" on the QB Search i laugh every time i hear people say i want a top QB, but don't want to give up any picks. i get the part about the skins having a bunch of holes to fill. but this is a QB driven league. and im sick of all the nasty QB play we have had in DC the last 20 years. well i do not want to mortgage the future, i all but want the skins to do what it takes to secure a starting NFL calibre QB. i don't want Flynn, but can understand why the front office would sign him. lets face it, anyone not named Grossman or Beck will be a big improvement

| Re: The "Inside Word" on the QB Search this team is waiting for Matt Barkley, i will say thats how i feel... i wouldn't expect any crazy trades for Luck or RG3, i honestly think if something like that were to happen...... it will be with Matt Barkley if his level of play stays where it was this year... but i think Luck and RG3 will be better in the NFL than Barkley.. so I dont like this feeling LOL. I want a first and second round pick this, and next year. point blank for me.

| Re: The "Inside Word" on the QB Search Only IF the Redskins had ended the season with an 8-8 or a 9-7 record would they be willing to wait it out another season before drafting/getting THE franchise QB of the future. I think after 5-11, there is just so much pressure on the Redskins to have a new QB under center this fall, that I don't think they can wait on Matt Barkley.

| Re: The "Inside Word" on the QB Search My two cents on the QB situation. With a 5-11 season and having Grossman and Beck as our QB's they need to address the QB position this offseason. So here we go, we are in a bad spot in the draft to get one of the top 2 QB's. Usually to move up in the draft is done on draft day, to me that is too late to have notaddress the QB position. So with all these rumors floating about a multitude of QB's we could get. I think if we either sign Flynn or trade for Hoyer or Sanchez then we wont attempt to trade up for RG3. Manning is not coming here. If we trade for Clausen or sign one of the other FA Qb's then i can see us still attempting to trade up. IMO i think we have to either sign Flynn or trade for Hoyer, because if we take a chance with the other options of the other available or traded for QB's and cant trade up to get RG3, the Shanahans will be feeling the pressure from fans and Dan Synder IMO. |

| Re: The "Inside Word" on the QB Search I don't have any idea how that rumor got started. There was never any talk of "if Peyton is healthy the Colts might be willing to trade him." None. All the talk centered around how the Colts probably won't want to pay him the 28 mil bonus and the only way to avoid that is to release him, not trade him. |

| Re: The "Inside Word" on the QB Search Yes. I live in Mississippi, wear wranglers, and am the new franchise QB of the Skins. Now you know.

| Re: The "Inside Word" on the QB Search LOL. Sorry. If we get him in any fashion I would be somewhat surprised quite honestly.
