| Re: how to get a QB if youre pulling the trigger Yes. I know he'll never be an All-Pro but he has been around the league and has started a Super Bowl and he does mentally know this offense well. 2012 QB's in camp would be Grossman, McCoy, Beck, 5th or 6th round QB and maybe Clemmens or someone like it as another arm.

| Re: how to get a QB if youre pulling the trigger I don't think I can take one more year of Grossman starting honestly. We have to have a better starting option in the opener next year.

Looking at the trade value chart, the #2 is worth 2,600 points and our pick is valued at 1,600 points. That's a difference of 1,000 points. Our 2nd rounder is worth 520 points, and our 3rd rounder is worth 240 points. Even with those two, it's worth 760 points with a difference of 240 points. Which is why I think you could probably keep this years 3rd and give them next years 1st and a 4th possibly. It's going to be steep. I almost would rather trade to the #3 spot where the value is only 2,200 points. Draft Countdown - Trade Value Chart

| Re: how to get a QB if youre pulling the trigger Sign Peyton Manning in FA. This is the simplest and most effective way to solve the QB problem. In no way does this move inhibit any other moves the Skins may want to make and the Skins become a better team instantly, even while they continue to rebuild. Note: In order to play this game of How Would You Get Your QB at this time we all need to make a whole lot of assumptions. So I'm assuming that Peyton will be healthy and a FA and that he would come to D.C. Last edited by KI Skins Fan; 01-28-2012 at 12:27 PM. |

| Re: how to get a QB if youre pulling the trigger I think Peyton Manning is done, IMO, it's just to risky to invest in him. He could be done with 1 more hit, how can any team risk signing him beyond 1 season? I think if they think RG3 is a franchise Qb, they should do whatever it takes. 9 of the top 10 rated QBs in the NFL were in the playoffs, the other Romo lost in the playin game. I think with the way the rules are now, you have to go overspend if you think he's the guy. I don't like the rules, but if you try to win another way aren't the statistics really against your chances? Does anyone now how the rest of the QB prospects(excluding Luck) grade out against past years? thanks |

| Re: how to get a QB if youre pulling the trigger I would have two options, plan A and plan B: A- offer whatever it takes to get Flynn as the starter. Then in round 2 draft Weeden as the backup and allow Flynn to help coach him up. B- draft Weeden round 1, grab a WR round 2, then grab another QB later. I'd probably trade back for more picks to accommodate this. |
