| Re: Predict Who Will Be The Next Redskins QB (Not Necessarily the QB You Want) My desired QB - RG3 My predicted opening day starter - Rex Grossman. I still believe that the Shanahans are too stubborn to see that there's more to winning than their genius offensive system. We won't have as much to offer as other teams looking to move up for RG3, so I see us trading down again, adding picks to fill other needs (CB, WR, Line depth), and drafting a QB of the future in rounds 2, 3, or 4. |

| Re: Predict Who Will Be The Next Redskins QB (Not Necessarily the QB You Want) Heck, Andy Dalton was a day one starter. Granted that it was out of necessity, but still. RG3 and Luck are day one starters if they are picked 1 and 2.

| Re: Predict Who Will Be The Next Redskins QB (Not Necessarily the QB You Want) So my concern with PM is now not his neck since doctors have said that it has 'fused' and he can take impact/contact. Its the fact that he's not able to throw. Bob Kravitz a Indy Writer said that he talked to people who watched Peyton throw and that he has nowhere near the NFL arm he used to have. He went on to say that it doesn't mean that he won't ever get it back, but it takes Time. The question is how much time? A month? 3 months? 6 months? A year? That is the main question right now for the Redskins should we Really get this guy (which I would be 110% for if he hadn't been injured; now I'm more towards the lets not sign him stage). Everyone is linking him to us. This could be a disastrous signing, should we give him millions and he doesn't throw like an NFL QB and throws like a high schooler. This could also be disastrous if he doesn't work at all in Shanahans bootleg system, or with Kyle Shanahan telling him what to do. This move, should it happen, would be a MAJOR factor in determining whether Shanahan gets canned or kept. Also, lets go ahead and say peyton goes to the Skins. What do we do in FA, and Most importantly the draft? Do we say Nope! we don't want you now RG3, and watch him become that could have been superstar somewhere else? Do we stay there at 6 and get either Blackmon or best OT available? Do we trade down and get maybe a Guard and Tackle or WR and Tackle? Do we go out in FA and go for DeSean (headcase which I don't see working for manning) or Marques, Dwayne Bowe,Vincent Jackson, Reggie Wayne, or even Welker? Do we change our system now that we have manning? Do we bring in Colts asst. coaches, and players to make our system more adaptable for him?

| Re: Predict Who Will Be The Next Redskins QB (Not Necessarily the QB You Want) rex grossman has a better chance of playing like peyton manning than peyton manning does.
