| Re: I See QB Rumors (2012 QB Thread: The Sixth Sense) When the colts release manning, I see him wanting to play in Houston. With manning at qb, the texans would be the best team in the nfl.

| Re: I See QB Rumors (2012 QB Thread: The Sixth Sense) Colts get RGIII plus picks and the Rams get players plus picks. Are we the one giving up the picks to the Colts and Rams? I'm assuming we would give up picks to the Colts with the Colts working out a deal on picks with the Rams and we may send a player to the Rams. I'd give up Orakpo in a heart beat for Bradford or Luck. I personaly would like Orakpo and a 2nd round pick for Bradford and with Luck the following.....Orakpo, swap of picks this year and next years 1st and a 3rd. (probably wouldn't get the deal done with either). Last edited by Gtothearry; 01-29-2012 at 02:01 AM. |

| Re: I See QB Rumors (2012 QB Thread: The Sixth Sense) I want Luck so bad. Damn, I just can't see it happening tho. I would honestly be happy with any package needed to get him. |

| Re: I See QB Rumors (2012 QB Thread: The Sixth Sense) Smoot & SC, Thanks for letting us get a peek into the inner workings of franchise this offseason. Whether or not these potential trades are executed, it shows me that the Skins front office is headed in the right direction. We have been without a franchise signal caller since forever. When was theblast time a Skins QB was even selected to the Pro Bowl? Our franchise is stuck in the mire of averageness until we get a young QB who we can build a dynasty with. MS knows QB's....I am all for having him go hard after the one(s) he and KS feel are elite. For The Record: the couple of years that I have been browsing this site, Smoot has never done anything to make me doubt his intel. I would consider his intel beyond reproach. (Except the Jevan Snead crush a couple years back)

I'd love either scenario... Things will be much clearer in the coming weeks as Mannings fate is decided. Question for SS, if Manning is released prior to his bonus date, which precedes the league year beginning, can teams speak to him/evaluate his status prior to free agency?

| Re: I See QB Rumors (2012 QB Thread: The Sixth Sense) On the other hand, what if we traded down and picked up Ben Jones, Mike Adams, Micheal Flyod, and Jamell Fleming. Then added a Qb through free agency?

| Re: I See QB Rumors (2012 QB Thread: The Sixth Sense) Interesting idea and I think a good one. Kyle Shannahan was on the Andy Sheehan/Thom Loverro show in DC on Friday and he said there was no way the Skins were going to give away the farm to get a QB. He said QB was one of many holes the Skins need to fill. It sounds like he thinks the team really needs a few playmakers. His most telling stat to this point was the number of passes thrown by the QB and run in for a TD was zero. Last edited by irish; 01-29-2012 at 09:40 AM. |

| Re: I See QB Rumors (2012 QB Thread: The Sixth Sense) Gus is only remembered for giving himself a concussion and Brad just seems to get overlooked by everyone. I thought Brad was a very good QB while he was here. Mistakenly, we let him walk away and he went on too win again elsewhere. |
