Optimism!
The skins have beaten both of the last two years super bowl champs in their regular season meetings against them (Giants and Green Bay) and almost beat the Saints the year before when they won the Super bowl.

Somebody pointed out a couple weeks ago that we're 7-2 v. NFC championship teams since 08. Rather than that being a good sign for us, the writer sarcastically said that losing to the skins apparently leads other teams to success.

On a more serious note, I think we woke the giants up in our DEc. game. After that, I think they didn't lose again.

Sadly, I think it's true. Losing to the Skins is a really good motivating force...

The same pattern occurred in 2007. The Giants should be happy to lose to us.

I was off yesterday and I listened to a fair amount of local sports radio... Dozens of callers proclaiming the Skins to be legit because we beat the Giants twice in the regular season. Like you said yesterday, it's loser talk.

However, I'm in a great mood today so I'm not gonna lock this....
